RE: Virpil CM3 Flaps lever.
Are you using anything at all on the throttle for zooming. I currently use the slider on the throttle. Watching this thread as I want to use the Flap Lever for something besides sitting idle.

RE: A few quirks noticed during coop sorties
ATC allows me to land without realizing there’s an A10 ready for take off already lined up. When I’m almost over the threshold the ATC cancels my landing clearence and waves me off. This should be done earlier to avoid this issue. Seen this a few times. Aviano AB. Balkans.
Also experienced situations like this in the default KTO campaigns.

Don’t use the cfg line, use SteamVR parameter. Source @I-Hawk
SteamVR is currently the way I do it. Is there any reason for not using the cfg line method?

RE: [VR] "My legs are small and my cockpit is tiny" fix
@Snake122 Copy…so just add that line in the VR section.

set g_fVRIPDMultiplier 1.0; // adjust world scale, default = 1.0
Has this parameter been removed. I do not see it. I currently use the world scale in SteamVR. Thanks

RE: Afterburner goes on both ways on throttle after 4.37.3 installation
@mbarry said in Afterburner goes on both ways on throttle after 4.37.3 installation:
@Dracfalcon It doesn’t work. The rY axis checkbox for Inversion was already checked, the rX was unchecked. When I checked them both I would only get 50% of the movement of the axis. Undoing this restored it to 100%. (And, for a while here, I was only getting 92% of the axis movement in the Virpil software, which is really odd.)
How should I have the SETUP in the sim itself in the controllers section? Here’s a screenshot…
I appreciate your help. If anything, solving this will make me learn the Virpil software.
Interesting. In the Virpil software, it showed 100% throttle movement for me. From your photo, it looks like you are setting your throttle through the “in-game” setup. Have you tried through the “Alt Launcher”? I do not use the setting page you are using.

I had the same problem. Go into your Virpil software and select “inversion” for each throttle. Let me know if it works for you.

@Ernestwinslow - I had the same problem. Go into your Virpil software and select “inversion” for each throttle. Let me know if it works for you.

RE: VR NeckSafer issues with Pico 4
I get that issue every now and then myself. To get rid of the issue, I have to restart the sim.

RE: Secretlabs gaming chair experience, anyone?
I love it personally. Had it for several years now and the quality is still there. I mainly play flight sims in VR and no issues.

RE: News from the frontline, 4.37.3 delayed (and explained)
Can’t wait for U3. From the previews, it’s going to be great. Sometimes we have to wait for good things to happen.

RE: Ramp Start via VoiceAttack
+1…althought I don’t use that command startup, it is available in JanJan…

Same here…was able to refuel first time out.
Edit: Not my screenshots…just relying as a whole. -
RE: PointCtrl in BMS
@Snake122 said in PointCtrl in BMS:
@Dracfalcon no, it doesn’t! It’s just that BMS’s mouse cursor lock allows you to use the buttons to click. Still way too much exaggerated movement for it to work as normal
set g_b3DClickableCursorFixToCenterIfVR 1
Map your SimToggleCursorCenter .key callback to something of your choice.I was able to point my cursor with my head movement and click my pointCTRL. It was only useful for anything up front. Was not able to get my head far enough over for the side panels. Just to be clear, I have “not” done what you are recommending yet.
Edit: To add “not”

@The_Nephilim you add it to your Falcon BMS User.cfg. line number does not matter.

RE: 4.37 Update 1
I used the Advanced Launcher updater as well. Also, got the same screen about “callsign”, etc. and registered. By doing so, lost my info for my data cartridge, and my rank was changed to 2Lt.
Luckily, I had backed up previous config folder and retrieved the appropriate files I needed.

Note that U1 includes:
- set g_fVRIPDMultiplier 1.0; // adjust world scale, default = 1.0.
So you won’t have to use SteamVR work around for the scale if you don’t want to. apparently. Thanks BMS team, probably @chihirobelmo!
So, we go in and change the number 1 to a number that looks good to us? Just trying to understand for myself. Currently I’m using a G2 with SteamVR set to 180. Thanks
