      @Adixylian:

      Hey
      I have the same problem

      Can you please tell me exatly how you solved the problem?

      Either way, I’ll exxplain my problem with the hopes that somebody will help me.
      I’m using Mud’s profile with Warthog hotas. Also I got the TrackIR5 and saitek pro rudder pedals.
      All axis are working in the BMS, all buttons on throttle are working and pedals axis.
      I have set up the Mud’s profile following it’s instructions.

      But, there is a problem with my joystick. Joystick axis are all fine and working. But only one button is working, and that is the Zoom in/out. Everything else I “press” on the joystick has no effect in the BMS.
      Do you know how to fix this? Please

      I’m on Update 4

      EDIT: and the trim is working on joystick.

      @Mud:

      You should not test the buttons in the BMS config, as the DX ones will not fire there. They should work fine once you’re in the pit.

      This has been covered quite a few times in this thread already.

      If it is that “problem”, I’m not blaming you for asking. 58 pages to go through is a bit much 😄
      I’ll add a FAQ to post 1 some time in the near future.

      Mud

      Mud,

      That would be great, but that wasn’t my issue. They wouldn’t work in the sim at all. However, on a hunch, I checked the devicesorting.txt. Somehow, Thrustmaster combined was on the bottom. I moved it back to the top where it rightfully is supposed to be, and all is good on the test flight. I assume unplugging devices probably did that. Would it help to make that a read-only as well?

      Adixylian,

      You may want to do the same I did. The file is located in the User/Config folder of BMS installation. It’s a .txt file, and check that Thrustmaster Combined line is at the very top. Just cut and paste, save, then test in the actual sim. Not in the setup menu like Mud mentioned.

      Can someone please direct me to a solution? I have installed the Mud keyfile to the correct folder and .tmc profile. When I run the profile through TARGET I get no errors. When I go into setup for controllers, I load the Mud keyfile. After that, half of the buttons work. The ones that don’t are the DX buttons. I can assign some but there are some assignments that don’t show up after loading the Mud keyfile like everything for the stick. I am completely confused. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

      Looks like we are in the same boat.

      @imacken:

      Thank you. I successfully have the throttle working on the z-axis now. One issue now is that the zoom view (previously assigned to the z-axis) doesn’t work. I tried putting it on the slider, but that always returns to the middle view when the slider is released.

      Yeah, that’s because the slider is spring loaded to return to the neutral position. You can zoom your view in and out using the mouse wheel when mouse cursor is not over any knob control in cockpit.

      @imacken:

      1. I have a Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS and having big issues with the throttle (amongst other things!). It’s on the rocker paddle on the throttle attachment, and although it appears to work ok in the setup screens, I can’t get it to work correctly in-game. For example, if I select ‘Instant Action’, then increase the throttle, that works. If I then try to reduce the throttle, as long as hold the paddle in, the rpm decreases, but the second I let go of the paddle switch, the throttle starts increasing again!

      I see no one answered this so I will. The problem is the throttle assignment is assigned to the throttle slider and not the throttle axis. To fix, go to setup, controllers, click on T-Flight HOTAS, then click advanced. Find the throttle setting and change it to the Z-axis. Not z-slider. You can test it by moving the throttle and watching the bar move left and right below the drop down selection. Click okay, then apply and then okay. Should be back in main menu.

      Hi to all!!
      The rudder is working now, but some bottoms from the stick are not working, like DMS or tms switch; also I can’t active NWS, I can’t active it.

      I checked the devicesorting.txt file as recommended by several members. I fixed mine by checking that file and moving the combined warthog line to the top line in that file. Try that and see if that fixes yours as well.

      Thank you all! It was the devicesorting.txt that was the issue. It still had my previous hotas on there as well as rudder pedals. I removed the old stick, moved like instructed and presto! Everything works like magic. Thanks for the great help!

      I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I load file in correct place. I setup my axis and then exit and make my axis assignments file read only. I then load the script as instructed. Run BMS and test. All axis works, but I’m missing lots of button assignments like MSL step switch, all buttons on stick, and half of switches on throttle. The switches on throttle panel work as advertised.

      I go to the controller page and test and there are no assigned functions for these buttons and switches, however I can’t assign the correct functions because they are not present in the list.

      Here’s what I see:

      Just did and still not working right. I have all axis working but all of stick and half of throttle buttons are not working as advertised. I’ve posted in Muds profile thread for assistance. Sounds like someone else is having the same issue as me.
