When BMS 4.33 is released I will form a JA37 only squadron within my wing!
Donât forget the JA37 Viggen had Rb 99 (AIM-120) capabilities towards the end of its service life.

Not if you know what it means: J = jakt = fighter. A = attack. So the AJ version is primary an attack plane with secundary fighter capabilities. JA = the fighter version. The secundary attack function of the JA was short lived: the first JAâs could carry rockets for ground attack, but that was abandoned very soon.
Thereâs also S for âspaningâ or âreconnaissanceâ. SK for âskolflygâ or training. SF for âspaning fotoâ, or âphotography reconnaissanceâ and SH for âspaning havâ or âreconnaissance seaâ.
This naming scheme is relevant for all Swedish aircraft. Which explains the name of aircraft 39, JAS 39 Gripen, and others such as SK60.
No your example is incorrect. Bearing is a confusing word that can mean many things depending on context.
When you call AWACS, they give you an absolute bearing. This means that it is a bearing in reference to the North, not to your nose. So you turn to the heading AWACS gives you.
Calls made oâclock, are relative bearing. 12 oâclock is on your nose, always, no matter where the north is.
Absolute bearings are useful, if you want to easily relay information to another flight, or within a flight where not everyone may have the same heading.
Relative bearings are useful, when your flight is in formation and you want to relay information, i.e. âCowboy11, Mud right 1 oâclockâ.
Itâs confusing, as a bearing in marine navigation is always relative. In the US army a bearing is always given relative to one of the cardinal directions. And in aviation bearings can be both relative and absolute. In Falcon however, if you hear degrees, itâs always absolute (if Iâm not mistaken).
I got my X-52 Pro today and im trying to setup a falcon bms profile. Iâve looked at this one and it looks ideal but im having a problem. When i try and enable the profile it gives me an error âFalcon BMS X-52.pr0 does not contain a profile for this device. The device has not been profiled.â If anyone knows how to fix this i would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
This profile is for the X-52, not the X-52 pro. You will have to find a different profile for the pro.
Are there any trim controls for No TrackIR BMS Saitek X-52.key profile?
No. Use the keyboard.
You can set the delay to anything you want. It is set by changing a parameter in the bms config file, and has nothing to do with the profile. However, I find that a delay of 0.5s works perfectly fine.
