@Eghi:
@Molny
What is different between the T-90 and T-14?
Let’s compare …
T-90
Mobility:
Weight 46,5 T
Power: Max 1100 KW (W-96 engine)
Max speed: 65 km/h, reach 650 km
Firepower:
barrel 125 mm (2A46M)
Gun 7,62 mm (PKT)
Gun 12,7 mm ( NSWT or Kord)
1A4GT integrated fire control system
Self protection:
explosive reactive armour.
Shtora system (OTSzU-1-7)
Smoke grenades…
Distribution of ammunition as in T-72BW ( “flying tower” ;))
T-14
Weight 48 T
Power: Max 1500 KW
Max speed: 80 km/h, reach 500 km
Firepower:
barrel 125 mm (2A82-1M)
gun 30 mm and 12,7 mm
Fire control probably the same as in T-90 SM
Self protection:
This is something new. The entire crew hidden in the front, behind thick armor.
Of course explosive reactive armour too.
APS radar/launchers
Smoke grenades… etc…
What is different or better between them?
T-14:
Is bigger
A more powerful engine
Slightly better barrel, little longer (keep in mind that the Russian ammunition is worse than German or US … (think Leopard or M1A1)
The most important change is the end of “flying tower” because ammunition is only in the rear of the turret, even more secure as M1 and Leo …
Tell me please what you want different between them in Falcon?
BTW. I made this model for some theater on the Baltic Sea, just for candy eye.
Cheers,
Eghi
Dear Eghi and all,
To my very point of view evolution is the key for any developement. T-14 has a place in BMS as in represents the future of Russia’s and allies cavalery assets.
BMS is not made to keep stuck to the 80’s. BMS is made to evolve, and, step by step, it converges to something reasonably close to the reality.
So, yes, to my very own point of view, your T-14 is a great addition, and is totally relevant.
Thank you for your work,
Your friend Radium
