- So the Tusba software itself … Cant help you there sadly enough
- It was my default upon installing 437. Had to set it to the bms exe (main screen of f4patch top and centre)

within BMS UI or in the first launcher?

have you pointed the patcher to bms? It seems to reference the old.Falcon 4.0

RE: New launcher won't start
@airtex2019 will do. Also, its a dedicated rig so it would be no problem to just format c :).

RE: New launcher won't start
@airtex2019 indeed… if anything weird happens I’ll reinstall my OS and start from scratch. Thanks for the support!

RE: New launcher won't start
@airtex2019 I’m pretty darn confused now, but now that my user folder is not hidden anymore, the launcher starts as it’s supposed to. For the life of me I can’t figure out what I have been messing with, but heck… it runs again…

RE: New launcher won't start
@airtex2019 ok, so the user folder was hidden, that was an easy fix. Still not sure why AI won’t write a log ofcourse.
I’m getting to the point where I’m desperate enough to reinstall my system lol

RE: New launcher won't start
@airtex2019 I get the same (but obviously with different names), so my user profile just doesn’t show up in explorer but is still present

RE: New launcher won't start
@airtex2019 I’m having a meltdown here… my user profile folder is… gone?

Screenshot of message upon trying to start the new launcher:
-
running on a pretty fresh install of windows 10 pro (probably the reason I didn’t have the C++ distro’s to run MFDe)
-
base directory is D:\Falcon BMS 4.37
-
no longs in Falcon (not surprisingly, I guess, as it’s not Falcon but the AI that’s giving me the error)

RE: New launcher won't start
@airtex2019 the new launcher itself. No logs in Windows event viewer, not sure where to find logs in Falcon. I’ll dig around.

New launcher won't start
So at first I couldn’t get MFDe to work. I got black squares instead of instruments.
Installed the latest Visual C++ redistributable from the Microsoft website.
MFDe now works (not even the latest portable version, but the “old” 0.6.3).But… I am no longer able to start Falcon from the new launcher. I get a popup with " Log Start".
To run BMS, I have to revert to the old launcher.EDIT: tried a fresh install to no avail.
Does anybody have a clue?

RE: Falcon MFD Extractor (MFDE) no longer supported?
installing C+++ runtime distributables made MFDe working… but now my BMS launcher won’t start

RE: Falcon MFD Extractor (MFDE) no longer supported?
@CAG yes, pointed to my 4.37 folder

RE: 4.37 MFDE extract HUD to MFD
@Golgo11 thanks for the help so far, sadly I am still getting black squares instead of instruments. I have opened a new support thread about my issue.

RE: Falcon MFD Extractor (MFDE) no longer supported?
@MaxWaldorf That’s the version I’m trying to use, correct. I first installed the " old" 6.3 , then copied the version you are mentioning to that folder. Still getting black squares instead of instruments.

RE: [After 4.37 installation] Trim hat also controls PAN VIEW
@regev ah, in that case I’d use the shifted pov hat for trimming

RE: [After 4.37 installation] Trim hat also controls PAN VIEW
@regev what are you using to look around? Trackir?

RE: Falcon MFD Extractor (MFDE) no longer supported?
@MaxWaldorf same on rtt/mfd’s. That works fine. Other stuff worked with mfde 5.5 on bms 36, not on 37. Mfde 6.3 misses the instrument images.
Recently migrated to win10 so maybe theres something like .NET missing?

@Badger that option is set correctly
