RE: The Future of Falcon BMS 3rd Party Developers
Sure Arty,
I mean in here, in BMS forum, and supported by the BMS dev team, ofcourse.
Maybe a restructured Technical Forum… -
RE: The Future of Falcon BMS 3rd Party Developers
Reading this whole thread, an idea come to my mind:
New forum section: “OpenToPublic 3rdParty DevTeam”
It should be coordinated/moderated by one elected member.
In this forum section there should be SubForums, like:- Coordination Forum
- Coders Forum
- FM/AFM Forum
- Modelers Forum
- DB Forum
- File/Folder/Package Forum
- New Theater Develop Forum
- New Aricraft Develop Forum
Maybe more, maybe different, etc…
Each sub-forum coordinated/moderated by one elected member.
This way, there should be a place for asking/ requesting specific help.
It could better manage all available help/sources/documentation/software/etc…My 2cts.

Great work mate.
Keep it up!About Stations+ILS and RadioMap, am already working on it…
Will be ready soon… -
RE: Theater conversion from 4.33 to 4.34
I like excel and manage well working with excel.
Used it to check stations+ils for poh, exporting original (official version) to make my changes, including detection of duplicates of tcn channels, comms freqs, association of IDs, etc… even created my new file from excel… using vba scripting.
Anyways, bms DB is still a big mistery me…Cheers and keep it up.

RE: Theater conversion from 4.33 to 4.34
Hey all.
So, DB is one big thing here, and much probably what will give us the most workload regarding theater converting to 4.34.
But, just to be clear, and eventually take out of the big adventure; the tiles/textures, elevations, object positioning (TE work) and the “Stations+ILS” field-work…Any of these will need re-work to get compatible with BMS4.34?
Have seen already the new Stations+ILS that have all the new freq fields, and also know there are freq ranges reserved for the intraflight comms…
Can we just grab the old file and include all the new freqs?Thankyou.

RE: Rwy headings
Very good info here
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! -
Steerpoint line and information color
Hey all,
Have searched but nothing found so far.
Is there anyway of change color of TE enroute/ information (headings and distance) from white to any other color (in UI map screen)?
I need it in a darker color…Thankyou.

WOWOWO…. it was that!
Thank you mate.
Problem sorted. -
DX output testing
Hey all,
After a long away time, am back on duty…
Have been checking all my instalations to make BMS ready to go, but it seems my cougar is not working properly regarding DX functions.
Axis work ok, keyboard outputs also seem ok, but DX outputs seem messed up.
As example, in BMS controllers screen, Missile Step button is read as Button 37, No functions assigned.
This button should output Button 5, Missile Step callback assigned.
Am not sure it relates o BMS instalation or cougar problem.
How can I check what DX function is output by cougar outside BMS ?
Thankyou.Cheers you all.
PS:
Nothing changed regarding KEY, TMJ and TMM files.
Missed this clarification. -

Hey Drakko,
When is the planned start for this TLP course?

RE: Convert coordinate of bms point in X and Y coordinates Feet
Thank you C9.
Anyway I’d need an algorithm so it can be computed in the IVAO converter we are developing. A stand-alone application doesn’t show calculations done.
In this case only need to know if X/Y aircrafts position read from shared memory, is linear/ direct distance (in feet) from theater origin point without any convertions or adaptations, etc…. -
RE: Convert coordinate of bms point in X and Y coordinates Feet
Sorry for ressurecting this thread.
Am working on a project that aims to integrate BMS into IVAO.
For that, need to try and find a way to, calculate BMS X/Y from shared-memory in real coordinates.
So, need to know if these X/Y values from any flight data are linear distances (in feet) from theater origin point (south/west corner), or it is not that way and any formulae is applyed to these distances…?
Thank you in advance. -
RE: UN-OFFICIAL Pillar Of Hercules PICTURES

RE: Official P.O.H. 0.8.0 Video
Yeap flyway… impressive work.
But if it was only art work -eye candy it would be quickly forgotten.
What i saw there was that the art serves the realism and missions training…
Also the team work which kept u till now and am sure will endure many years to come.
U now have a very valuable legacy and many many team members which is the key for the best to come.
Thank you for the compliments, but I have to direct all to this project head; Joe Labrada.
Even the movie was his authory!
It was based on a joint flight, but we all have him over our shoulders. He deserves this tribute! He is the guy that goes to the party and f/&%/&, er… takes the queen home.
