Count me in for a throttle kit. Will I still need the Tusba after the update?

RE: Autoreleasing bombs CCIP/CCRP
@-Vandal-:
The longer I hold the pickle button down it seems to me the more likely the bomb won’t come off. I have no idea why that is.
I think it’s just an illusion. Maybe you just hold the pickle longer as your approach is not that stable?

RE: TUSBA questions
I ordered one of those TUSBA R1s and it sure is taking time for the company to email me and send me a tracking #
I emailed them and they thanked me for having an interest in one of their products and said they would email me when they shipped it off. Man how long does this take?! Was it like this for you?I already answered here https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?30707-Cougar-Throttle-question&p=428859#post428859

RE: Next Project
I see Miles has a site for selling his sim mods, but it not functional for taking orders yet. I’d like to get a few items there myself.
http://www.spec-tech-dmt.com/products.html
He has a TQS PCB replacement too, but I’m not sure it’s for the current TQS as it appears to be the plastic F22pro TQS in the pictures. Miles needs to be specific if it works for the metal and latest version of the TQS. It wouldn’t take much to retool it for the metal TQS I would think.
I will order the hall mods as soon as its working.

RE: Cougar Throttle question
It’s quite easy. Just a few more entries into the key file. New DeviceSort alone won’t help.

RE: Cougar Throttle question
IMHO, don’t bother with the R1 as it cannot be reflashed and bios updated like the R2, nor does it have the calibration tool support as does the R2.
Maybe you can elaborate a bit the advantages of the calibration tool support. Thanks

RE: Cougar Throttle question
I ordered that TUSBA R1 V1.02 Looks like it comes from Spain. It’s been a week and no email conformation. I emailed them and they thanked me for an interest in their products and assured me they would send email to me once it ships. Hopefully some day.
I see that realsim sight also seems to have some pretty serious F16 flight sim hardware! They only ship on Mondays so I guess it should be on its way now.

RE: Speedbrakes - I'm confused
as soon as you release the switch, they will reduce back to 43degrees.
Thanks! That was the missing piece of information.
Only the fwd/aft thing keeps being confusing.

Speedbrakes - I'm confused
The manual reads:
“The speed brakes open to 60 degrees with the gear not down and locked. With gear down and locked speed brake opening is limited to 43 degrees to prevent the lower surfaces from striking the runway during landing. This limit can be overridden by holding the SPD BRK switch in the open (aft) position.”
So does this mean you should first extend the gear, then the speedbrake – or if necessary open speedbrackes to reduce speed, close them, extend gear, open again? Cause otherwise if you lower the gear and keep holding the switch to long for extension they will go past the 43 degree setting? I’m confused.
And shouldn’t it read “SPD BRK switch in the open (fwd) position”? Left open, Center, right close (if you look at the switch from the top).
