    • RE: Screen res forces frame rate, disables Freesync?

      Thanks for the reply, but not quite clear on what you’re referring to. The Radeon settings definitely show FreeSync on, and the monitor Hz will match in-game Hz for other games. It’s just in Falcon the monitor Hz are fixed to whatever the Hz setting is in Falcon Setup > Graphics.

      What settings are you referring to as ‘available in bms’?

    • Screen res forces frame rate, disables Freesync?

      Hi, I’ve searched around for answers and it looks like some folks have Free/G-sync working with Falcon, but I can’t seem to find anyone’s settings.

      I’ve confirmed Freesync works in other games, and I’ve narrowed in on the problem being that in Falcon, when you pick a screen res (e.g. 2160x1440 120Hz) it forces the monitor to use the selected framerate, rather than allow Freesync.

      I’ve confirmed because with Vertical Sync turned off (inside BMS graphics setup), my monitor OSD will show the fixed framerate (120Hz, for example), while the in-game fps counter typically reads 80-90, and there’s tons of screen tearing. Clearly, Freesync isn’t working for me. Vertical Sync eliminates the screen tearing but my monitor framerate still isn’t matching the in-game.

      I’m using an R9 Fury, latest firmware, and a Pixio PX277 monitor.

      Any help greatly appreciated!

      Hi, apologies if this was asked but I searched pretty thoroughly and didn’t see it mentioned. Is there code to adjust Cougar MFD backlighting? Referring to the green backlights on the hardware, not the brightness/lighting of in-game MFDs.

      I’ve got all the buttons working flawlessly, the lights are just off and I’d like to brighten it up a bit.

      Thanks!

    • RE: Mud's Profile

      First off, thanks a ton, great profile and so easy to get up and running.

      I’d like to adjust the sensitivity curve for my rudder pedals (TM TFRP, they’re WAYYYY too sensitive at default settings). Would I have to add them into the profile to do that? If so, some guidance on that would be great. I tried to go to ‘Edit Configuration’ through the GUI, but it only looks for *.fcf files, not *.tmc to open and edit.

      Right now, I’ve got this block at the top of the profile because of some earlier comments in the thread that BMS can only ‘see’ so many devices or something like that:

      Configure(&LMFD, MODE_EXCLUDED);
      Configure(&RMFD, MODE_EXCLUDED);
      Configure(&HCougar, MODE_EXCLUDED);
      Configure(&T16000, MODE_EXCLUDED);
      Configure(&TFRPRudder, MODE_EXCLUDED) ;

      Thanks
