@Stevie the bomb isnt guided by the laser beam itself, but the reflections from the object being pointed at with the laser.
Correct me if Im wrong, but this is how I remeber it explained by some guys that were doing JTAC training.

@Atsalis Allright, if you have any suggestions to make the TvT better, you are free to bring them, and we will look into them, but several years of doing this have somehow given us some do’s and dont’s
Happy holidays, and happy new year!
@Atsalis said in TvT between v.Wings-Squadrons:
What runs up to now is very challenging, flexible and interesting. But it doesn’t bring Squadrons to team up.
Whats stopping squadrons from teaming up? I dont see whats stopping any squadrons, or groups to coordinate and execute perfect tactics etc.
We manage to bring singletons together as groups… I guess you just need to reach out to gather some people.
Best regards, and happy new year!
@mstram said in Mission Commander Manual WIP:
Hate to necropost, but I, too, would love to have a copy of an MC Manual, no matter what state it’s in…
So has this ever been made available on a non-password protected site? Or does anyone know the login credentials needed to access it on Arty’s original FTP site?
Thanks all.
+1000
Is the manual “alive” ?
Is there anyone that knows?
@airtex2019 Damn! Guess it is the eyes you go blind on first!
In the bms config file;
set g_bExportRTTTextures 1
set g_nRTTExportBatchSize 2
and the RTT . ini file is like this:
USE_MFDLEFT = 1
USE_MFDRIGHT = 1
MFDLEFT_X = 2642
MFDLEFT_Y = 9
MDFLEFT_W = 620
MDFLEFT_H = 620
MDFLEFT_ONTOP = 1
MFDRIGHT_X = 3416
MFDRIGHT_Y = 9
MFDRIGHT_W = 620
MFDRIGHT_H = 620
MFDRIGHT_ONTOP = 1
This gives me MFDs on the two monitors I have for the external MFDs, and the right one is good, with the correct size (620x620), but the left one is not showing as 620x620, rather 300x300, and it doesnt change no matter what I set in the .ini file. (the coordinate for the upper left corner is correct, and was changed when edited in the .ini file).
@Jumpstart5179 yeah, have separate monitors as well, right one works like a charm, left one does not. What do you mean with redo the .cfg file?
In user cfg RTT export is set to 1, and the settings in the .ini for RTT is identical for left / right MFD, except for the screen coordinates (which is correct)…
Hello,
I have a “weird” problem after the U3 update, with the RTT Export for external MFDs.
My right MFD works as normal, but my left MFD, is not exported with the correct width and height, I tried changing it (in the RTT .ini file) both up and down, but it doesn’t change at all. The upper left corner is in the correct position…
It works as normal for the right one when changed width and height.
Best regards

Please also read the campaign description & R.O.E found on our website or in the registration channel.
The S.O.P’s for this theatre will also be updated soon.
The war start date is 7th April 2023 @ 12:00 Zulu. You will need to be running Falcon BMS 4.37 U2 to fly in the TvT.
In the meantime you can read https://falcon-online.net/guide/ This document is a small “TvT Campaign Guide” to getting started with a TVT event.
The “campaign” download will be release shortly before the start of the war…
TvT is a campaign flown in a team vs team enviroment, meaning you will be flying against other humans in the F-16, and also some AI that is restricted to A-A sorties only.
You and your team will have to do all the A-G work to help the campaign enginge gaining the initiative and bringing the win to you.
The TvT is a great chance for pilots to enter the domain of MP flying, bonding with new friends and virtual pilots, and offering an great learning experience as well. Only thing you need to know is ramp starting, basic handling of the jet, the rest is a bonus, and can be learned on the go and as you fly.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this wonderful MP event.
Hope to see as many of you as possible in the virtual skies over Suez from the 7th of April.
Best regards
Would have been nice to be able to have more lines / points for those as well
@MaxWaldorf
Would you not like the transmitting channel on the UI map?
You plan a flight, several tankers available, would be nice to just have the TACAN channel by looking on the map. What would you need the recieving channel for (from an flying point of view)
I didnt actually notice that it was the offset between them. I just noted the UHF freq for the tankers. Is it the transmitting or recieving you get from the AWACS when you call for an tanker thats not the one in your briefing? (never checked that out)
Might be just a small thing, but would it be possible to make it possible to click on a data tag and drag it to shift position for it?
@Mav-jp saitek rudder pedals, on final, three greens, seconds later only two greens, followed with nose gear collapse on landing.
Thank you so much for your effort on this! Nothing feels like flying around my country
<p>Hello!<br />I would just like to see if anyone could go into details about how the different assets on airbases/fields affect the bases operational level/ability to launch flights?<br /><br />We have seen several times on Battle for Lapland AI flights launching from airbases that says they are 0% OPR, the runway have been repaired, but ammo dump, fuel depots, control tower etc have been still showing as “destroyed”.<br /><br />Also, if you do not take out the runways, but the fuel depots and ammo dump for instance is destroyed, how does this impact the bases ability to launch flights? <br /><br />Anyway, BMS team keep up the good work! Love it! <br /><br />Best regards, <br />Guard</p>
<p>My question is how do you even find those infantry battalions? <img src=“/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f601.png?v=kcklbnj8rj8” alt=“” class=“not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji–grin” /> </p>
Get the same (I think)

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

Define realistic elevations? Most of northern Europe if not all of it is flat but please define realistic
Norway is part of Europe (quite far north in Europe, but still), so, define flat?
(I know…its not that much of Norway in this theater, but I couldnt help it)
