Be sure to let us all know how this turns out! Not sure if it’s the quarantine talking, but this is riveting!

RE: Throttle axis reverse?
I have a setup with a modified CH Throttle Pro and i’d like to reverse the throttle axis but there is no Reverse option in the Advanced control settings for throttle. Is there a way to reverse it modifying some file?
Thanks!
Pretty sure you can make this change in the CH Control Manager software.

RE: Having some "minor" control issues.
Welcome!
First off, no need to combine the devices. Each will be recognized separately in BMS, but they need to be in MAPPED MODE (it’s the button immediately to the left of the HELP icon). I recommend assigning commands by clicking the command in the UI and then pushing the corresponding button on your HOTAS (referred to as “DX Mapping”) rather than mapping commands to simulate button presses in CHCM. It’s possible to initiate some unintended commands with multiple button presses when using CHCM profiles rather than a DX map.
Check out the document “DX CH Fighterstick and Pro Throttle.pdf” in C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Docs\Key Files & Input\Device Setup Guides & Profiles\CH Fighterstick & Pro Throttle. It will help.
No need to “go back to DCS”… you can do this.

RE: Hotas x no gun :(
ive been using my Saitek st 200…maybe 20 years…first venture into half decent joystick…digital intergration f16 first sim with dynamic campaign no bindings then.
Not sure what you mean.
Go into the controller setup, scroll through the commands until you find SECOND TRIGGER DETENT. Click it with the mouse, then push the button you want to assign it to on the stick. The commands are organized by location in the pit. Also try and refer to the documentation in the user/document directory.
Good luck!

Try binding the button to the SECOND TRIGGER DETENT command in the controller setup.

RE: CH file set availability
Just double-checked – i had to switch the POV hat on the fighterstick to DX MODE and give button numbers to each direction i want to use (i ignore the buttons on the diagonals). One of the axes on the throttle joystick is backwards when mapped in BMS for some reason… i think it’s the y-axis. If i wasn’t so used to it by now (you can check the “reverse” box in the controller setup in BMS), i would simply invert it in CHCM.
Good luck!!

RE: CH file set availability
Hey Ken!
I recommend limiting the programming in CHCM. The only thing my CH profile does is ensure that i’m in “mapped mode” and sets one of the hats (can’t remember which one at the moment) to accept DX inputs. The rest of it is programmed using DX commands from within the sim (clicking the command and then clicking the corresponding button on the HOTAS). It can be a little tedious the first time, but you’ll be much happier with the result. Take advantage of the “pinky shift” button feature to add a second command layer to your setup. I prefer this to using the different modes available in the CH software and there’s ample room for everything you’ll need.
As for which buttons to map, map the same ones that are on the real HOTAS (the fighterstick matches up well with the real thing). The layout is in the manual.
Welcome back!

RE: Multiplayer and Skype.
Another option to consider is Discord. It’s very similar to teamspeak but allows users to create free servers rather than paying for hosting services. I’m in no way affiliated with Discord… just started using it myself.
