RE: Ff you could have one thing in the next update it would be…
Seeing posts like this makes me always wonder why BMS team releases their work to the community (and for free). Sad, man, sad…

Clouds from 2010 vs present version clouds
When i created the possibility to give the user the possiblity to add more clouds, i knew it would bring to knee most current configurations.
In this old video from years back (2010 I guess) it shows huge volumetric clouds that drop shadows on the earth and this was run on gpu hardware quite inferior to present day gpu’s.
Compared to bms 4.33

… Sometimes disappointing (c.f. Weather comments).
Please accept my apology this was not the aim of my comment.
It’s just weird to see screenshots from quite a few years back depicting relatively advanced cloud rendering.

RE: Ff you could have one thing in the next update it would be…
pfff sometimes i just feel so tired…
Thank you 100x for all the hard work.
I just mean that with a more advanced cloud and weather system Falcon bms would become totally untouchable.
I know that this probably can’t be implemented due to the limits of the aging engine.Maybe a kickstarter campaign to fund the purchase of a new engine or development thereof? I would surely contribute.
Again total respect from me for the dev team.

I find the only major thing missing to be an advanced cloud/weather system…

RE: Asking again…
The reason it takes so long is that the implementation of the new cloud system is quite complex…

RE: My upgrade to Windows 10
Glad it worked out fine for you. My excursion from win 7 to win 8.1 was short and the return journey fast. During the first boot of win 8.1 I had to provide an email address in order to log into windows what utter nonsense…
when I arrived at the win 8.1 desktop it all just felt alien… and that was all it took to make me revert back to win 7…
