I want to program my hotas so that when I am using the maverick I can zoom in and out the view in the tgp using one of my rotary dials.
I thought it was ctl f3 or f4, but when I press the combination it doesn’t jump to anything so I may have deleted the command or it was never assigned…

However I can’t find the key command for that…

Does any one know what it is…

Thanks

What would be the best functions to map to your HOTAS
With my current setup I have mapped already:
- Guns, Pickle. TMS and DMS functions - Mapped to Joystick
- Left and Right MFD buttons - mapped to TM MFDs
- Speed-brake, Counter-measures, - mapped to Throttle
- FCR cursor movement - mapped to Throttle mini-stick
- Gear up/down - I use the keyboard
- CP buttons - I use the mouse…
In the process of adding in the voice command to take care of Tower, AWAC communications
Since I still have button left over, what buttons/function would you also consider essential to map to the Hotas.

What is the best Voice command software for most flight sims.
I am looking to install a voice command software that will allow me to speak to the tower, AWACS, and my flight.
I was looking at AVCS4 but don’t know if that is compatible with other flight sims such as DCS or IL1946, BOS etc etc…So what is the most versatile,(and easiest to setup and use) voice command for BMS / DCS. IL2 series and other flight sims…

RE: Need help in mapping virpil throttle to BMS
I already saw that…but it is never as easy as it is shown…there is always something hidden that isn’t shown that makes the difference between success and failure… (I should trademark that)

Need help in mapping virpil throttle to BMS
I have the Virpil CM3 thorttle and I am trying to map the buttons and rotation devices to the BMS key map using the Alternative launcher.
Now I know I need to get the joystick germlin and Vjoy for the buttons that are marked as 33 and higher, But I was just trying to assign the range knob. In the Virpil Tester program the knob will show as 02 and 03 as I rotate upward and downward, Yet after clicking on the Range Knob Assign button in the Alternative launcher it doesn’t registar. (Same for the knob that identifies as 14 and 15 in the Virpil test program - doesn’t register in the alternative launcher).
Dos anyone know how to program these knobs…

How do you get the joystick and throttle recognized by BMS?
(i know this may sound basic, but don’t want to pooch these items).
I installed the throttle, then calibrated, saved the calibration, then saved the profile. I then loaded that profile and then disconnected the Throttle.
I then installed the joystick and calibrated, saved the calibration, then saved the profile. I then loaded that profile
I exited the software,
How do you get the joystick and throttle in the games…Do I
- Connect both items to my computer usb.
- Run the game
- Configure the buttons and sliders as to the games inputs.
(Do I need to load the profiles and have them running in the background (like some head tracking programs?), or just as long as they are connected to the computer,I should be good to go.
