RE: Firmware upgrade for warthog throttle - fast slew
@Icer I got it from the links that were included in the link that was in the first post, Calibration Tool and Fast Slew Firmware. Then I realized that I only needed the files in Fast Slew Firmware, as you have said.

RE: Firmware upgrade for warthog throttle - fast slew
@AWmk1 Thanks for your help. It does make a big improvement to slewing the DeltaSimElectronics cursor switch on the Warthog throttle.

RE: Firmware upgrade for warthog throttle - fast slew
@AWmk1 The download is kind of ambiguous. The download provides 2 calibration tools,
but the instructions only describe to use the Throttle Warthog Calibration (v1.07).exe. When is the HW_Stick Calibration_v1.13.exe supposed to be run. Finally, the download provides another directory
with different installation instructions but nowhere does it say whether these instructions are to be run before or after whichever calibration.exe is supposed to be run.
Can you clear this up? -
RE: BMS2Target: BMS to Thrustmaster HOTAS LED Controller (Viper Mission Pack and Viper Panel)
@scubapics I understand the purpose of your tool for ViperTQS. I just posted my use of the Warthog LEDs as a way of showing how LEDs could be used for something other than Gear and Speedbrake. I don’t know how to make use of BMS shared memory, but if the shared memory revealed whether ACMI is recording and I better understood how to use BMS shared memory, I could also have my TARGET script record ACMI and video simultaneously for the trigger pull.

RE: BMS2Target: BMS to Thrustmaster HOTAS LED Controller (Viper Mission Pack and Viper Panel)
@scubapics I use TARGET on Warthog LEDs to indicate the status of the ACMI recording. On
the Warhog I have Coolie switch left cycle the ACMI switch.
Switch -------------LED status----Purpose
EVENT MARK----Top LED on----30 second ACMI recording with a trigger pull. ACMI but no video.
RECORD ----------All LEDs on ----continuous ACMI recording. ACMI and simultaneous video.
UNTHRD ----------No LEDS -------recording off. -
RE: Thrustmaster TQS LED
@scubapics Can your BMS2Target.exe work with the TARGET Script Editor for Warthog? If so, do you think it would be possible to modify the ViperTQSLEDSync.tmc for use with the Warthog throttle?

RE: New free MFD/ICP app to control Falcon BMS from touch devices
@r00t You’re right, there was a setting icon on the bottom right of my iPad. Hey, thanks a lot for your advice. I got through config and found my IPv4 address. I couldn’t find any menu item called Properties on my iPad. Anyway I typed in the IPv4 address in the settings page on the iPad and it made the app work on the iPad. I got the IC P and MFDs! I’ll save your computer advice in case I need it in the future. Could you give me one more? How do I get to the Properties item on my iPad?

RE: New free MFD/ICP app to control Falcon BMS from touch devices
@r00t I can’t tap the wheel because the app never gets there. It’s stuck on “Discovering server…”
Now the unknown computer part. With regard to your last sentence, I don’t know how to double check network setup. Also, where would I get network settings and details? -
RE: New free MFD/ICP app to control Falcon BMS from touch devices
@greatcouloir I updated my Norton Anti Virus to allow FalconBMSUniversalServer, but still no success. The FalconBMSUniversalServer output looks like this, which is same as before allowing Norton Anti Virus
and my iPad output still looks like the

RE: Falcon BMS 4.37.3 - Documentation Bug Reports
@Micro_440th The previous post was corrected to say p17, not p18. Anyway, I checked the checklists and found that there is NO recovery procedure for HYD/OIL PRESS faults on the ground while in rampstart. Neither was there a recovery procedure in Dash -1, section 38.3. There are recovery procedures for HYD and OIL in the checklists for In Flight Emergency Procedures.
-
RE: Falcon BMS 4.37.3 - Documentation Bug Reports
@Micro_440th The Training Manual on the bottom of p17 for the HYD/OIL PRESS light says, "follow the steps in Dash-1 chapter 38.3 “GROUND EMERGENCIES” to recover from this fault”. However, there are no steps to follow in Dash-1 chapter 38.3 for recovery of this fault.

RE: DTOS point of impact jumps during high-altitude delivery
@VirPilot Even at high altitudes, 20K-25K, if I point at the ground first, I don’t have the problem.
-
RE: DTOS point of impact jumps during high-altitude delivery
@VirPilot I think your problem is that you’re not pointing at the ground when you first press TMS Up. Try moving the cursor to the ground and then press TMS Up. No problem then.

RE: 4.37.3 BMS Manuals Folder
@Micro_440th I did have Dash manuals in the 00 BMS Manuals folder and I deleted them. By the way, I also had a 4.37.2 Training.pdf in that folder and deleted it because there was also a 4.37.3 Training Manual there.
