Had 3x x52, 1x hardware improved (modded) x52pro and now a completly modded x55. (see here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?18306-Project-X55-GERMANY-%28Mod%29&highlight=germany+mod)
The problem you are describing is electronics based on the x52 standard (if not clearly based on wear of hardware of course) - not on the Pro!
I had multiple comminications going on with Saitek back in days about that particular problem and they confirmed it.
Not only that, but they thanked me for it, because i prooved them the case by demonstrating the solution for it: how to avoid this “electronic off-center” problem.
The solution is simple: Keep one button (doesn´t matter which one - on thruttle or stick) constantly pressed at all times and you will see in the control panel it always centers properly again (what i did was to “clip down” one of the mfd buttons with a piece of plastic).
I know hah - it sounds ridicilous, but you can easily replicate (confrim) for yourself.
Saitek stands for great ideas, cool concpets, but definitly NOT for good quality after all my expiriences with their product lines in all those years.
