No i do not have that option, im pretty sure my cpu does not have an igpu as it does not show up in device manager and i have never been able to use it for anything.
Wait what ā¦ the Intel HD 630 (integrated graphics) is visible in the Task Manager screenshot you posted, earlier.
Does DxDiag.exe show anything interesting? (Paste a screenshot here ā of both the āDisplayā and āRenderā tabs if it has both.)
was going of a old and, apparently incorrect memory. The HD630 was there in device manager and i tried disabling it but that made no difference.
Also tried changing the priority in task manager to real time but still no luck .

@oakdesign this doesnāt happen to me.
U say u have 3 monitors but u see 6-9. That is 4 monitors. So something funny goes on here, maybe some virtual displays enabled at some time and are left overs? I always see 3 (8 9 10) and I have 3 monitors.
yeap u r right on the 1024res I forgot now itās different.
mmh on my settings page it says display 17ā¦
Only have the inbuilt laptop screen and one external monitor.

Strange the Nvidia control panel on my laptop does not have any of those settings?!
I think this is some sort of clue ā¦ fwiw I updated my Nvidia driver to 425.31 (~2019) and although the āmulti-display/mixed-GPUā option goes away, the ability to select a preferred graphics processor still remains.
Does Windows show you this option to āRun with graphics processorā¦ā when you right-click on Falcon BMS.exe?
No i do not have that option, im pretty sure my cpu does not have an igpu as it does not show up in device manager and i have never been able to use it for anything.
Thank you all for your suggestions so far and apologies for the delay.
Can confirm the GPU is OK as Steel Beasts and DCS (at close to max settings) run with out any issue. Have also tried disconnecting the external display and running the game only on the Laptops built in screen but the issue was still there.
Re installed the game and restarted after instillation and re installation and re installed the video drivers but still the same low fpsā¦
Totally bumbed as i really enjoy playing this sim : (
Same low fps on U2 so this is a issue with my set up not a U3 specific problem.

I didnāt ask to see the āMemoryā tab on TaskMgr but I just happened to notice, your non-paged pool usage is astonishingly highā¦
Itās rare to see more than about 250MB consumed from the non-paged pool ā¦ your system shows almost 1GB.
(The non-paged pool is where the core of the OS kernel and some device drivers, run in a region of memory that can never be swapped out.)
I thought it was maybe something to do with the intel/nvidia graphics memory sharingā¦? but on my Optimus laptop the non-paged pool is still just 220MB.
What else do you have running on this laptop? (What is it like, after a fresh reboot?)
Nothing else running to my knowledge, started the computer, launched falcon and took the screen cap. But here is a screen shot if the memory page after restarting.

I have an old work laptop with the split intel/nvidia graphics interfaceā¦ 4th gen i7 and GT 750M ā¦ probably one of the first of these things? lolā¦ but I can try to play along
With 4.35.0 Iām getting about 27fps with 100% usage on the NVidia GPU ā¦ ~25% usage on the Intel IGP
Laptop screen rez is 3200 x 1800 ā¦ no external monitor.
Here are some settings to take a look at

has switching to borderless or windowed any effect?
No effect i am afraid.

Windows 10? Ensure āGame Modeā is on, and open the āGraphics Settingsā page to add
Falcon BMS.exe
to the list of apps that trigger high-performance mode.I think that signals the NVidia GPU to be used. (Not sure. But if you had done that for U2 previously and the exe is now in a different placeā¦ maybe it would cause what youāre seeing?)
Done but issue remained
@oakdesign Thanks that worked : )
Strange, falcon is seeing system memory is instead of the GPU memory ā¦
will try rolling back to U2 to try and narrow down the issue
@airtex2019 Yeah it a Alienware 15r3, windows 10 build 19043, BIOS and drivers up to date.
Have a screen shot of task manager but idk why the FPS counter just is not showing.
Sorry i have taken so long,
So checked the correct GPU was selected, disabled my antivirus, and uninstalled/reinstalled the game but the issue remains.
Unfortunately Ctrl + c, f, did not do anything and i was not able to find a āDisplay FPS infoā like command in the key bind menu.
As i wrote above this issue is present as soon as the 3D would starts and on all the different missions and campaigns i have tried so far.
@maxwaldorf hahah no, wish I had the money for the GPUs tho
@arty pretty sure the NVIDIA GPU is selected but will double check
@dema will try this after disabling the anti virus
@seifer the performance issues seem to be consistent no matter if on the ground in a campaign or mid flight in the barcap quick start mission and present as soon as the 3d world loads.
Do have Bitdefender in the background, will try turning it of, and share a fps info screenshot when I get back from work.
