Hey,
No need to be a developer
Some things to remember:
MC is not for creating mission, but to adjust missions.
DON’T save a new_te.tac, save0.cam, save1.cam, save2.cam or instant.cam!Start off with some simple things like quickly shifting a times for a flight, package or even a whole mission.
Examples:
You have a TE mission which flies around 09:00 and you want to have the same mission in the evening.
In the campaign tab under times you can shift the whole mission at once to the time you like.Make a clone of a flight. When you have a flight of 4 aircraft and you want to split them up into 2x2ship.
Go to the Units, double click on the flight. Change the amount of AC to 2 and save the flight.
Back in the unit tab, right click on the flight and select “Clone Flight”. Now you created a copy of your flight. In the Flight screen you can adjust the time so the second flight will depart a couple of min later. The same can be done with a package. Clone a package and you can quickly add a lot of flights.
You made a mission but you want that F-18 fighter sweep done with F-15s… Open the flight and look for “Change aircraft”
That reminds me, still need to make the “Add AAA to campaign” and Add “SAM to campaign” features available for TE as well.
With these you can add AAA or SAM battalions to a specific objective type.
For example, add a AAA battalion to every Factory for team X.Enjoy
Falcas
Wow; direct instructions from " Falcas himself " ;). Yea, that’s what I’ve understood till now: the tool is for mission adjustements.
To me the most problem for now is, to keep on giving a kick into my ass myself going ahead by studying, reading AND practising this sheer amount of “new” Falcon - stuff, wether tools or scripts.
It’s really impressing, sometimes “fearing ;-)” (back at school again - sigh) , but non of the time boring. AND: all the stuff is written in English :x. Well, the damons are coming back into my life again, because I hated English at school.
Thanks for your usefull instructions, Falcas; you guys are very polite on Falcon BMS forum.
Best wishes to all of you
