No temporal soln existing?Replace the existing custom view code lines in ALL F-16 3dckpit.dat files with this:
// Custom Snap Views customview 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 -36.638332 0.000000 46.000004 " " 1; // MFDs & Instruments customview 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 -61.739338 0.000000 46.000004 " " 1; // Kneeboards

I also noticed this. And that the other custom view is for the kneeboards.
However I was unable to switch to that view.
Isn’t it supposed to be Ctrl-6 for toggle custom view, then Alt-6/-7 for Prev/Next custom view?
It didn’t have any effect.Custom views only work in pan view (3).

RE: RTTConfig and 4.36
@Dram Due to a DX11 limitation the minimum setting g_nRTTExportBatchSize is 2.

RE: AIM 120
Guys,
what Max and JP are telling you is this:If you’d really(!) have something meaningful to share with us you’d for sure never(!) share your knowledge publically(!) in a forum like this.
So, what do you think others think about your ‘way of observation’?

RE: PATROL mission type
Hi, I was wrong.
Patrol = Recce Patrol, but for Naval Assets.
So, your job is photograph, not destroy. Don’t confuse a Situation Report (…“disrupt” and “destroy”…) with your flights / packages task! The message is: In order to be able to destroy something we first have to do some recon.
For the missions:
Recce = Recon / photograph a tgt building
Recce Patrol = Recon / photograph ground units in tgt area
Patrol = Same as Recce Patrol, but for naval units in tgt area.
Hope, this answers your question.
I will add the description to the User Manual.
Thanks for reporting. -
RE: Keyfile and pokeys
He probably means Mal Ind Lights.
There is only one release callback: SimMalIndLightsOFF
It exists because IIRC a pitbuilder requested it for his rl panel.
That was before I joined the team in 2012.IMO with the current solutions (DX press / release events, or vendors programming software) it is outdated and not needed anymore. Apart from that the press and hold functions we have do exactly what airtex describes. There is simply no need for the release callbacks.
Btw. and off topic:
I would never(!) setup my full scale cockpit with keystrokes. DX is the way to go. -
RE: Canopy Open/Close Issues U3?
Read Technical Manual, page 180.
This is not new -> been like this since 4.35.0

RE: ECM Distinct Callbacks
Ah, you mean DX. Thought you were talking about mouse inputs.
Yes, the descrete callbacks should work as well. If they don’t it is a bug.
-
RE: ECM Distinct Callbacks
The ECM mode functions in pit are invoked by the SimEcmModeXToggle callbacks. On / off are not used.

RE: VHF Freq Errors
This is as per design.
Since 4.36 Tactical VHF operations are conducted in the 30.0-61.0 and
136.0 to 144.0 MHz range. See Technical manual, chapter 5.13 Falcon BMS Radio Spectrum Management. -
RE: Falcon BMS 4.36.2 Documentation: Bug Reports
@101-Spyder
Sorry for the late reply. What you list in the Examples is exactly what I do atm. In addition, a lot more options are available and everything is regrouped.Yes, we still plan with 3 separate cfg files. For good reasons.
BMS can manage the Falcon BMS.cfg at will.
You have to set your User.cfg once and can carry it over to newer versions. Same for the Hosts / e.g. dedicated servers. I really don’t see a problem here. -
RE: Falcon BMS 4.36.2 Documentation: Bug Reports
@101-Spyder
Thanks for your report but I won’t address this before the next major release. The cfg file and descriptions in the manual will receive a big update for 4.37. -

RE: Radio Message Colors: Hex Values Order?
Unless there is a code change (I am not aware of that) the order in BMS is always like this:
Alpha-Blue-Green-Red
