    • RE: BMS mouse handling - questions

      @Eagle:

option to disabling mouse click in BMS would be great! maybe with a keystroke?

      my workaround
first in pit to do: put the mouse in the upper left corner an disabling mouse with the 4. mouse button (activate in cfg), so the courser will stay in this position… In this position “normaly” the mouse will never be over a button while looking around with TIR, so no problems with touch inputs

tried that already - no luck.
please try for yourself to do so then zoom in on the icp and touch the touchscreen on same coordinates approximately as the icp buttons in the main screen.
if you don’t change anything on the ded then I wonder if maybe you have something else as setup (bms in fullscreen maybe?)
the moment I touch the touchscreen bms receives the coordinates anyhow like I wrote.

I would like to stay on one pc.

    • RE: Livrot Mic Command - Preview Release

      Foxmike,

I installed several new USB game controllers but one of them cant be recorded as LL-Hotkey. No button of that device (Leobodnar USB interface) shows up in LMC, but shows well in BMS or even the Win10 gamecontroller setup and event tester. There is no "eating" software like TARGET running. So I cant imagine why this device doesn`t work with LMC. Is there any device setting with influence to that problem?

You can try loading your profile without its settings from the LMC menu. This should reset the device list of your profile. (Save it to another place afterwards.)

And second question: I want to use two USB devices alternatively with MIC PTT buttons, but I can only record one alternative as DX Hotkey for MIC in Livrot as I can see. Is there a way to use 2 USB devices with seperate PTT buttons within one profile or must I always switch LMC profiles ?

      From the LMC manual (P.56)

Triggering LMC Hotkeys in a macro program
For hotkeys of the LMC functions (all hotkeys located on the Settings-Window / Hotkeys page) that are triggered
by mouse button and / or keyboard chains of events, a temporary macro can be recorded that contains the
needed action to trigger that LMC Hotkey. LL-‘eater’-Hotkeys or WS-Hotkeys must be disabled while recording
them as a temporary macro (use the ‘global override’ for example), otherwise they can not be recorded, they
would just get triggered while trying to record them.
Put that macro in a new command (‘add temporary macro’) and add a phrase to that command – now you can
trigger the desired LMC Hotkeys by speech recognition (do the same for hotkeys of other applications if you like).

So simply record a keyboard hotkey that is not used anywhere else (a key combination like SHIFT+ALT+CTRL+WIN+‘m’ that is not used anywhere else) and create a new command for which you record this hotkey as a keyboard macro. Then give the command a usb button hotkey. Copy the command in the list of commands and record another usb button for it.

To have the press / release action for the mic, record only the key press events for a command triggered by a button press and do the same for the release action.

Windblow (Wingedsky) had the same issue before.
You should be able to save your profile whenever needed.
First try ‘Save As’ and check by loading that one (with setttings) though!

      –-General Information—

Until the update comes: Always load old profiles without settings, then set hotkeys up and save it under a new name.

(Do not load a profile with its settings if it was not saved from the actual version before.)

      –----------------------------

I will try to update your account within 24 hrs.

to use older lmc versions with win10 try this:

open the lmc folder (from the menu/file/open lmc folder)
right click on the 4.5 MB LMC main file and select properties
      click on the compatibility tab
check ‘run this program in compatibility mode for’
and select ‘windows 7’ from the list

I hope it helps until an update is ready.

Sorry, the LMC hotkey system got rewritten and these bugs surfaced with the rewrite.
      I will investigate this.

What do you mean by ‘you save settings and close LMC’ - did you save the profile again, too?

      @Foxmike:

      Hi.

I tried that several times but that doesnt work. I got:

Temporary macro is empty. No command created.

This report shows every time even when other keys are pressed, although my keyboard works fine and in preferences temp macros are allowed. So why is the recording not working? Any other forgotten settings?
      Thanks for help

Edit: mouse temp macro recording works well, but the keyboard shows no reaction when recording

LMC is still ‘funny’ in some regards ……

      are you using a laptop?
then try clicking on an opened notepad window just before pressing the key combination.

      hope this helps.

      Heads Up!

Voice Attack Profiles can be loaded into LMC (actual version).
Simply rename the .vap file into a .xml file and load it from LMC.

I just checked it using this one:

      https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?24221-Voice-Attacke-Profile-V1-4-33&p=345627&viewfull=1#post345627

VAC profiles can be loaded into LMC, too.
(DJ’s VAC profile for French keyboard) https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?8323-DeeJay-s-Voice-Activaded-Commands-(VAC)-Profiles&p=102541&viewfull=1#post102541

      … and Keyspeech profiles, also.

Do not forget to save the profile afterwards to complete the conversion.

LMC licenses can be had for free here, PM or post your username (from livrot.com).

      Hi Foxmike,

when you have the lmc editor window open, click on the red ball icon showing a ‘K’ and press CRTL + BRK.
The BRK or PAUSE key is the second key to the right of the print (screenshot) key.
Then click on the red square (stop) icon.
Now click on the blue ‘+’ icon and the recorded key presses are added as events into a new/fresh created command.
All that is left to do is to open that command and give it a phrase.
