RE: Alt Launcher vs Target Software HOTAS Warthog
@airtex2019 I was looking for that in the docs. Must have gone right by it. That’s exactly what I am looking for. Much thanks. BTW, I do not want to use target, avoiding in progress

USB Devices in BMS
Could someone tell me if there is a limitation on how many USB devices BMS allows, or no limitation?

RE: Am I being Thick.
@AllenB1971 Your Warthog will set up very easy in the Alt Launcher. It’s all DirectX. Check the BMS Documentation. It will explain everything.

RE: Manual Calibration
Mine does the same thing. Could never figure out why, but I just got used to opening up the CCP and setting it all back to manual, then I test it.

Radar Cursor freezes
This has happened a couple times recently. Is this a bug? This happens in the air. Radar Cursor working and all of a sudden it freezes and won’t move. Back out to Setup/Controller/ Advanced properties and it is working. Reenter the flight and it starts working again. Does not seem to be a hardware problem. My entire HOTAS is programmed in Alt Launcher. No macros are used.

Replaced Viper TQS'?
I know some of you have RMA’d your Viper TQS’s due to the calibration issue. For those who received their replacement, are they working better, or have you had the same issue? Just asking for informational purposes only.

RE: Radar Cursor freezes
@airtex2019 It doesn’t matter, it just stopped moving. Cycled through everything. The only way to fix it was to exit and rejoin.

RE: Viper MIP w/ MFD Displays
@drillerman52 Yes, the displays are USB powered and connected to the USB HUB. One thing I need to mention. If you are using an NVIDIA Graphics Card for your main display, the two MFD Displays will not show up in the NVIDIA Control Panel. You have to configure them in the Windows Settings/Display Properties.

RE: Viper MIP w/ MFD Displays
@drillerman52 I got a 3.2 powered USB HUB. It came with a 5V power plug. Powered up both MFD’s and the ICP with no problem. You have to make sure it’s USB 3.0. So make sure you have enough for 5 connections at least. I went with an 8 port.

RE: Viper MIP w/ MFD Displays
I got mine a couple weeks ago. The ICP is great with DED above it, and the MFD’s are awesome. Very good quality and easy to set up. Comes with a lot of bench stock so you can improvise your install. If you have bad eyes and struggle seeing the MFD info, these are for you. Very easy to setup with the software.

RE: Upgrade to FCC3 for Cougar
It is virtually impossible to get the exact same amount of pressure while manually calibrating your cougar unless you are using a push pull gage, I believe the realistic amount is 20 lbs. Your hand and arm are going to feel the force differently in all directions X/Y. Watch the numbers as you push and pull and note the number where you click the trigger to set it. Go the opposite direction the same amount and that will get as close as you can. Make sure have User Mode, Emulation On, and Manual Calibration selected in both boxes. I always check this each time before use and hit apply. It will reload you calibration just in case windows messed with it.
