RE: [ANN] opentrack 2.0 beta 1 released!
Thanks for the info massima, however I seem to be too dumb to find it in the various subfolders… can you enlighten me to just where you uploaded it? Or should I be looking for a spec file that allows me to build the package from source on a debian based system like Ubuntu?
Thanks & all the best,
Uwe
I uploaded it in my gdrive space (here), it can be reached by a link in the wiki page of the project.
The deb package can be installed via “dpkg -i opentrack_2.3.12-1_amd64.deb”, via gdebi or other tools; if you use latest Ubuntu, you shouldn’t have dependency issues. I compiled the core code without Wine/aruco/etc. -
RE: [ANN] opentrack 2.0 beta 1 released!
Sorry to necromance this thread, but has anyone built the current version of opentrack (git or 2.3.12) successfully on an Ubuntu 20.04 based platform?
TIA & all the best,
Uwe
i built a deb package for my debian testing, you find it in the github page of the project.

RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?

RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?
I alsways had an eye on building an MPU9250 based headtracker as well. But as it’s only 3DOF I’ll stay with my 6DOF IR Tracking
It is true but the hatire data structure is made of 6 values [x, y, z, roll, yaw, pitch] i added only last 3 of them. So i think it is possibile to pass displacements like
x=ax*t^2 where “ax” is acceleration along x and “t” is the time. Simple or not is an idea to work on it8-) -
RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?
Finally i have my headtrack with arduino and a MPU9250 working with opentrack and the hatire plugin.

Potresti utilizzare un traduttore. Hai configurato, a dovere, la tua periferica??

RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?
A MPU9250 must be calibrated correctly and now i’m not able to do this now (limit of my programming knowlegment), i’m giving up temporary for now. It is too inaccurate when i only pitch it yaw too, this is inadmmisible in any sim and specially in a combat sim:-?

RE: TrackIR possible enhancements in BMS?
I give up with headtrack using arduino, the future is VR helmet when its price will decrease.
