It is comparing BMS favourably to DCS in so much that it has things like the dynamic campaign, but yes, is mostly a complaint about DCS marketing strategy.

RE: SERIOUSLY!?!
Who kicked their ass the first time BuzzU? I think the ass kicking was pretty mutual considering the adversary still occupies half the country.
I wonder if there was a massive spike in sales of LED strips from Amazon recently?

RE: BMS 000- Benchmark Test Results.
Same Here:
defaultF4 GFX settings for quality etc. 32 to 34fps on the Runway, going up to about 55 as I get airborne & fly circuits. GFX at default, NVidia settings moderate AA (4x) In windowed mode - with display extraction, this drops to about 23 on the runway, and about 44fps in the air. In an empty world, with clear blue skies I get about 55fps.GTX 1070, i7 3770k @ 3.5/4.0Ghz 16Ghz Kingston KHX1866 DDR3 RAM, Win 10 Pro 64bit. 2560x1440 monitor used for main 3d display (Windows Desktop is running 4 in total).
Can’t say that I have optimized it at all, it runs fine normally, apart from an occasional stutter when something explodes nearby!

RE: Slight bug in 4.34 F16 cockpit lighting
Forget the offset text. It seems to have cured itself. I did a GFX driver update shortly after posting - perhaps that was the issue? However, the illuminated switch bases remain. It’s more of a quirk now than a bug.
The variant is the F-16B-15 Trainer used in the Training Missions3. Also the CM-52. Maybe others.

RE: Falcon BMS 4.34 Changes you noticed.
A few quick blasts in the Istant Action scenario seems to show that the AI have a bit more of a self preservation instinct than previously.

Although you might want to copy one or two config files from the old installation first.

RE: Still no tobii eye tracker 4c support for BMS ?
FaceTrackNoIR has a setting to use Tobii. Have you tried that? I can’t imagine that eye tracking is going to work that well when your eyes are darting about all over the place, or does it do face tracking too?
Dee-Jay: It’s a sort of detector bar, that comes as a standalone device or, often, built into the screen bezel of some laptops. It allows you to move cursors and whatnot with your gaze. I think that in general, your game has to support it - I’m guessing that FaceTrackNoIR must “intercept” the signal - and turn it into the normal type of headtracker signal that sims can use - like TrackIR.

RE: New Cockpit Pilot Model
Soldano: As darkman says - those commands only work in the 3d world. ALt+c gets you into the Key Combo mode, then you press a key shown on the keyboard layout, in this case, p for Pilot. Others are shown in the manual and on the Keyboard layout: EG Alt+c then F to display Frame Counter onscreen.

Slight bug in 4.34 F16 cockpit lighting
As mentioned in the title, when panel back lighting is on using the R/H Console Primary Lighting rotary, then most of the centre and left hand console illuminated text is offset by a few pixels, making it look somewhat odd.
The Right hand console green text is aligned perfectly & replaces the white text as expected. In addition, a number of the associated switch bases are illuminated in green, on the right, centre and left consoles. I suspect that being made of metal, they should not be illuminated - I may be wrong. I have never sat in an F-16 with the panels lit up.
Otherwise - it’s going swimmingly.

RE: You're on glideslope!
because we’ll all be dead when 4.43 goes out
Methinks you need to press F5 more often chum Was already running it before I posted that…. [EDIT] Oh I see what I did :redface:
Be careful copying stuff across from your old setup chaps. The BMS manual is pretty specific about what is and what is not compatible.
