The Campaigns can be controlled by the AI but it adds to the fun if the player/commander has a little bit of control over which PAKs need to be addressed and which ground troops need to move to control an objective. Also it is not guaranteed that the ground troops will make it to all objectives to win the campaign so player/commander intervention might be helpful. Remember it is a dynamic campaign so just because something happened when you played it a day ago, week, month, however long you want to look at it, doesn’t mean it is how it is going to be again. This campaign does not alter anything in the main BMS install. It adds another folder to the Data folder within your BMS install call Add-On Balkans and it takes everything from that. I made it that way on purpose so it didn’t overwrite anything on the main BMS install for those who want to keep their BMS install standard, but kept everything standard on the Balkans campaign.

      HOW TO INSTALL

      • After you download it to your desktop, extract the Balkans_Theater_4.36.zip to your desktop
      • Run the Balkans_Theater_4.36.exe
      • Set Path to c:\Falcon BMS 4.36 and install

Once you have finished the install process, open up Falcon and switch to the Balkans theater in your Theater list. After it switches to the Balkans theater, close Falcon and Re-Open it to give it a fresh start in the Balkans theater.

To Uninstall the Balkans Theater, go to your Falcon BMS 4.36/Data/Add-On Balkans folder and double click the uninstaller (see image below) located at the bottom of that link. You do not need to edit the theater.lst file. It will do that automatically.

      Balkans_Uninstall.png

      • (Google Drive Link) Balkans Theater 4.36
      • (56th VFW Link) Balkans Theater 4.36
      • (Torrent) Balkans Theater 4.36

With regards to the torrent, please let me know if it is working or not. This is my first time creating a torrent file.

      • After you download the zip file, extract its contents to your desktop
      • Point your path to your root BMS folder (example: C:\Falcon BMS 4.36)
      • Run the .exe file and extract the files
      • Allow to overwrite all the files. You are good to go after that.

DataAutoUpdate it was stuck in memory and works now.

But sometimes Path & Lines works and sometimes it doesn’t. Anyway, I live with it now, it takes too much time to look for the fault.

      Many Thanks

Thank you for the help, but unfortunately to no avail.
      Did all the steps exactly.

      5. Now manually run 😄 \ Bin \ DataAutoUpdate.exe which should run as a process and exit after about 10 seconds. nothing, but UpdatePathNames.exe will update both files.

      8. Now check that the newly created MapOverlay_15.png; MapOverlay_30.png; MapOverlay_60.png have the latest TE waypoints.

      MapOverlay_15 / 30/60 were not regenerated.

      best regards Nik

    • RE: Ice’s Falcon BMS Profile Updated for BMS 4.37

Have problem with Helios V 1.6.3504.0001/V435-8.
Started Falcon 4.35 U2 TE in
2d World, briefing - executed print and Datacard save.
Continued with start Helios Control Center, however in CPD&MAP the steerpoints of a older TE are still active .
MapOverlay_15; MapOverlay_30; MapOverlay_60, has the wrong lines and waypoints from an older TE. Will not be updated.

All ok with MFD steerpoints, thread circles, etc. of active TE are visible.
Kindly ask for tip or solution how to correct this problem.

      Greetings….NIK

      @linknet:

Check out @wheelchocks advice in the previous post and if that doesn’t work then download the profile again and replace the “UpdatePathNames.exe” and the “Ice’s Falcon BMS 4.35.hpf” profile file itself. Nothing else was changed.

I made a small correction on 20-03-2021 which didn’t justify a new version. If you downloaded after this date then you have the current version and no need to download again.

      Just to reiterate:

      1. Save the Briefing (by selecting Print)
      2. Save the DTC
      3. Reset the Helios profile

Let me know if you are still having the issue and we can investigate further.

Sorry, the mistake was between my ears. Wrong order.

      3 .; 1.; 2.
      1. Save the Briefing (by selecting Print)
      2. Save the DTC
      3. Reset the Helios profile
Thanks again for the hint and your work, it’s a brilliant program. I am very happy about it.
