RE: Replacement for TrackIR

RE: Question on comms menu position with th2g
Thanks Buster,
I do have VAC (used this long time ago on in AF) but whilst getting back up to speed on BMS and the possible commands I can use it is handy to see them on screen too. Looks like there may not be a simple solution so the VAC option is looking best at the moment.OldBadger

Question on comms menu position with th2g
New BMS User, used F4 since 98 but had a long time away.
Setup is triple screen (th2g) on 3 x 1280x1024 monitors driven by a gtx780.
All working well and beginning to the grips of BMS (only beginning ).Problem I have is that the comms menus appear at the right side of the left monitor. Now this coincides with the bezel and as I have bezel management enabled then part of the menu is hidden behind the bezel.
Is there a way to move the location of the menus.
I have tried using the g_bCenterUI line in the bmsconfig but I cannot get this to appear to work nor can I find a way of moving the comms menus directly.
Anybody know of a solution?
Thanks in Advance.

RE: SAitke Combat Rudder pedals Toe Brakes Setup in BMS??
I am complete newbie to BMS so take this with a warning
Had a similar issue with Saitek rudder (pro flight ones) and could not get the toe brakes recognised no matter what I did so I ended up deleting the axismappig file (actually renamed it first just in case) and voila it all worked just as expected.
Then left toe brake on the general brake axis and right on the right the brake.
All worked fine then.

RE: Cougar or Warthog which way to go
Thanks guys,
From what I can gather X65 no longer available.
Had to google TUSBA but this appears to give me another option to start off with.
Buy a Warthog stick on its own and utilise the old Cougar throttle via the TUSBA adaptor.Hadnโt appreciated that was possible.
Decisions decisions
Thanks again OldBadger

Cougar or Warthog which way to go
Long time ago I was an avid F4 pilot but now having had a break of quite a few years want to get back into F4 via BMS. I have a Cougar (which is extremly sloppy - one of the reasons I drifted away).
So the question is I suppose;
Do I upgrade the Cougar to a Force Sensor stick or should I just move to getting a newer version.
I know all the differences, it is not that I am looking for, but I donโt know whether going the Cougar route will just back me into a corner longer term particularly if longer term is related to other changes like OS or the like.
Still running XP and no real reason to change that yet if it is important.
Thoughts on best routes for the future?
