This was with a brand new installation, with no cfg or anything carried over from 4.34, after tonight ill try and reinstall it again.

Hello, I installed the latest Weapons delivery planner - 3.7.17 build 164.
Upon first launch, I entered my Callsign matching bms, “OldGoat5”.
Upon further loading, I received a crash
“Conversion from string ‘Loading Callsign.ini’ to type ‘Integer’ is not valid.”Here is the stack trace.
If I press continue or Quit and try again, WDP remains frozen and I cannot do anything.

Bug introduced in Bullseye calls?
Hello,
I have noticed in the latest versions of Falcon 4.34, the Bullseye calls are not being called by the AI in the regular modern convention. They used to be fine.
New format: One Three Four, Four three miles.
Convention + old format: One Three Four, Forty Three miles.It is quite difficult to mentally keep track + memorize the new format, which is different from the modern military convention (please correct me if it has changed recently, from when I started and learned falcon the modern convention was, you pronounce the bearing as digits, and the mileage as a number).

RE: IVC options
IVC chapter 18 in the BMS-Technical-Manual was written by the ‘IVC specialist’ back in the 4.32 days. Obviously with newer Windows versions Microsoft has changed things to do with sound in Windows, so some options may not work like they used to.
Don’t forget to read the section on Outsiders on page 239. If you have it set to all your human AWACS will not be subject to the radio filter. If you have an AWACS flight in the TE/Campaign mission you would be better off perhaps to set Outsiders = awacs and have your human AWACS join BMS and select the AWACS flight to have the radio filter work as if he was in that jet in 3D, with all the radio sound effects such as distortion due to range etc.

Does this mean the human AWACS who is in 2d, should also hear distortion radio effects? I haven’t been able to hear the effects as 2d awacs anymore.

Through the ivc shortcut i tried changing all options hiss etc everything, but i heard no change in ui when trying to be human awacs. All voices were without radio simulation.

Human AWACS Digital Signal Processing
Hi,
I am trying to be Human AWACS in the 2d UI. As AWACS, I cannot hear the Digital Signal Processing radio degradation sound effects anymore like in 4.33.
I have tried increasing the sound effects in the command line options but I still hear everyone clearly. I want to hear bad signal if players are too far away from the awacs, whose seat i have selected.
I have tried all of the /o options and changed /H etc but I hear no difference in 2d. I have also tried with no options but still no signal degradation.

Tried it and no issues during tonights flight night. I did not leave my pit though. I have been changing the default communication device a lot when I go into virtual reality, that may have been what was messing things up sometimes.

Hi.
In our wing flight nights, we have been noticing an IVC problem in campaigns after the newest update. The issue is that some of our pilots’ VHF radio will stop working for 1 or more pilots after maybe 20 minutes into the flight. The pilot it happens to can be random, but usually I am included. UHF still works, but we end up not realizing this till later. Sometimes both stop working. This may start happening when people disconnect and then reconnect back into the flight that has already taken off. When the problem occurs, some pilots can hear each other still but the pilot with the ‘broken radio’ cannot. Changing frequencies, and changing volume knob and trying to turn off and on the radio does not fix the issue.
Is this a known issue? I am on the latest BMS update and on Windows 7.

FlyInside FSX has like an HMCS cursor, you aim with the center of your head of switches you want to click. Or if you want you can also move the mouse over stuff. HMCS cursor is really easy to use.

I set bms volume to 25, ivc to 75 in windows audio. Then put comm1 and comm2 knobs in middle positions, and use the scrollwheel downwards on the ai vs ivc vol knob all the way down (to get highest ivc volume, lowest ai volume), and also set the intercom 3 clicks down from the top. Otherwise the annoying AI voices are too loud, and real people with the radio distance effects sound way better than those AIs to people listening.

RE: Severe performance impact
Your graphics card is probably on battery optimizer by default like mine was. Even my gtx 1080 lagged until i put it on high performance mode in the nvidia control panel. Do it for falcon bms.exe, or if you dont have it there make it the global setting.

Tried that but no browser instance is opening… Do I need some other software for it to work?
I have Nexus 4 with Android 5No, it should open inside the app a picture of the chart…I will check into your phone. And you fill it manually, other than saving it from the included calculators for stuff like fuel calculator and take off calculator and bomb release calculator, and the home and alternate chart.
**EDIT: I have figured out the problem, the in-app browser is not set as the default browser for opening the charts. Do either of you want to try the test build?

RE: UHF / VHF volume control
Key the mic after adjusting volume, or it wont change till you do. Ive set ivc to 70 and bms to 25 on windows volume, and set intercom down 2 clicks, uhf vhf in the middle, and the tiny vol. knob down 2 clicks. That small one will increase ivc sounds. I wish it would lower ai sounds instead, since i hate them and it sounds so bad and cheesey when trying to fly huge wing flights in a video.

create a new profile within nvidea. after updates I sometimes get furbar graphic settings. it seems to get stuck sometimes.
Did that, with global as well as a specific bms profile. Checked everything and tried tons of combinations of everything for the past few days. Includes max performance mode and single display mode. Also checked windows 7 power settings, same thing.
