The silly sh_t I do:
Not being a fan of the stock FF F-5A/E, I asked myself, “What if the ROKAF went-in for the ‘deal of the century’?”

More “Fun with PS”, this time an (awful) cold warrior hack:
Still working-out some issues with the roundels on the intakes warping if moved any further forward…
…and I’m pretty-sure that if you deigned to go anywhere in the world where there was BMS, you wouldn’t be buying your own drinks.
<p>Hoody-Hoo! She rides (campaign hasn’t moved into daytime, yet)!<br /><br /><img class=“ql-image” src=“https://i.imgur.com/IWhayg2.jpg” /><br /><br /><img class=“ql-image” src=“https://i.imgur.com/6ZHXOa1.jpg” /><br /><br />Btw, would like to express my gratitude for the changes to the forum that make adding images so much easier!</p>
@Aragorn said in Mitsubishi F-1/T-2:
I’d love a post where you just put screens of EVERY model and skin mentioned and posted in this thread.
We could see them ALL in a single post.
Easier to choose my new desktop wallpaper…!
I’d vote for a general Radium screenie-thread, all the models/skins back to the beginning!
I agree with Molni on this: I like nice graphics but function is more important than form, esp. since the sim already looks quite nice. And why push for more advanced graphics when it’s nearly impossible to obtain the latest gfx hardware from both a supply and cost standpoint? There are a whole lot of things I would want to work on before I worry about something like RT. But, just my op… : P
Fun with PS; a little tweaking and the F-104DG becomes the TF-104G:
… : P
@Radium: Because, presumably, the next release of BMS (where the a/c will appear) will not occur in the very-near future.
…Trust, me; it’s a compliment.
I think that you can pretty-safely assume that interest in this project remains high…
F-104J, all HP configured (…and LEF’s working!) and super-cool Orpheus Recce Pod:
@luke777: I generally try not to tell people who know what they’re doing what they should do, especially if I don’t… : P
@ccc1tw: 1st .lod I ever added to FF 'cause it’s way cool…
@luke777: Sorry to hear it, but good fortune and thanks for all the hard work!
@Aragorn: was that a “royal we” or more of a multiple personality thing?
More silliness: What if the US just transferred the in-theater F-104C’s to the RNVAF rather than giving them F-5’s (they had originally asked for Mach-2 capable a/c like the Phantom)?
Radium’s awesome F-104C skin, BTW. I just messed it up in a more-or-less South Vietnamese way… : P
I can’t figure-out if I’ve done something wrong or got a corrupted install, but I cannot for the life of me get editor to sort via name (a/c, munitions, etc.), it will sort into sort-of alphabetical order but many items out of order such as AGM-65E appearing in list after Rampage. Is there some additional logic to the sort-by-name other than alpha-order that I’m missing?
<p>I’m curious why it would be desirable to spend system resources to implement this specific behavior? The weapons as coded does x amount of damage over y area of effect. Any unit within the weapon’s area of effect is damaged as a result. What purpose would it serve to create the same effect but simulate a weapon deploying a sub-weapon over y-area that then fires a munition at a target within that area that does x amount of damage. Granted that the RL working of this technology is way-cool, trying to model it is just adding needless complication to generate the same mathematical function as far as the game-mechanic goes, is it not? IMHO, that is… : P</p>
