RE: WIP: F-14 B/D
@stingray_SIX_TWO said in WIP: F-14 B/D:
The base axis for the probe still needs to be finalized to create accurate rotation as the fuselage cover part is attached to the probe so they move together.
Hi stingray,
Looking at your reference picture, the rear part of the probe cover actually rotates into the fuselage, so I think your rotation point should be maybe a foot into the fuselage and probably in line with the change in the cover’s width.

RE: C-130 small graphics bug
Should be a data fix that has been done AFAIK.

RE: [4.36.1] External lights discrepancy

Block 40, 50 maybe others.
Daylight, no NVG.
FORM lights set to maximum
AERIEL REFUEL light set to maximum
Master lights on
Wing/tail off
–> can see wing lights from cockpit
–> can’t see wing lights from outside
Wing/tail on
–> can see wing lights from everywhereYes, KTO.
Hi Lorik,
Can you be more specific as to what the discrepancy is? For example, Aerial Refuel will not work unless you open the refuel door. FORM light operation is dependent on Master setting.

@Aragorn said in F-104 series (J, DJ, S-ASA/M and G): You have been around Falcon so long that many simmers today were still in diapers when you started.
And now, some of us cough, cough Aragorn are back in diapers…

RE: BMS 4.35 Screenshots
I believe this model is the original model. It cannot be edited because mrivers included DOF Math for the nose gear resulting that the model cannot be opened in LodEditor.
AFAIK, Buraktunahan has made texture improvements (nice ones at that).

RE: 2021 A Falcon BMS Year to remember!
Hee hee…!!
Thanks for remembering, dude. Indeed, I put together almost 1600 pages.Did you use Elmer’s glue or was it more like papier mâché? Or maybe it was like a collage? Did you squint in order not to see the where the edges met?
…just wondering…

RE: Question about Landing Gear Implementation
@schnidrman said in Question about Landing Gear Implementation:
That being said, my question is…***Will gravity cause the nose wheel to lock into place after falling below a certain speed when using the Alt. Landing Gear?
Yes, at about or below 180 knots, gravity will overtake airstream drag and allow the nose gear to drop if not damaged.

RE: 1 project 3D for a beginner by Repman
Also, take some time to read the F4 3D Database Builder.pdf located in the same TOOLS folder as the 3ddbuilder.exe. It explains how to extract, build and update the db.

@repman Do not forget to set up your materials properly. You should set it up as pType 9. Check the materials’ setup guide with the exporter.

RE: B1-B MODEL… or b52?
Such a gorgeous model! Will we be able to see it in BMS 4.35.x soon?
I think it is not in any of the 4.35 iterations. BTW, thanks again for the reference pics.
