Dark Charts for BMS

Hi everyone,
coming from civilian flight simulators charts are an important resource I am accustomed to use.
Due to my work I only fly during night hours therefore happens to me that my eyes feel funny when I keep laying them on the bright white of the charts when everything is dark around me.
I tried to have a look on the internet but it seems no one thought about making dark charts for BMS, so here I am.

Hope these will make your eyes feel better at night.

Supported Theatres (v4.37.6):

• Korea (charts as of 04 Jun 2024);
• Balkans (charts as of 27 Jan 2025);

Other Supported Theatres (v4.37.4):

• Korea (charts as of 04 Jun 2024);

• Israel (charts as of 04 Jun 2024);

• EMF (charts as of 04 Jun 2024);

Versions:

• The original charts have a really high resolution, maybe even too high than we really need, so I provided also a half resolution (half-res) of the same charts.

If you would like to use another theatre please contact me sending a link containing the download of the docs folder of the theatre. I’ll try my best to make them for you.

I solved thanks to this.

Are you aware of the “release” function? You can essentially save a lot of DX inputs. You can have it mapped so that when DX6 is on (or “press”), you are LANDING, when DX5 is on, you are TAXI, when DX6 is off and DX5 is off (or “release”), you are OFF. That way, you only use 2 DX inputs for 3-way toggles and 1 DX input for 2-way toggles.

Hi, it’s the version it installs with the 4.37.3 unless the setup installs an older version should be the latest one.

I have that problem once in a while in my cockpit too. Not exactly sure what causes it. I usually just keep at it and eventually the AL recognises it. Interestingly, once mapped, this does not seem to be an issue once in the 3D world cockpit.

Okay, at least I’m not the only one. I will try to set it as you suggested. Much appreciated for all the help guys. Anyhow the taxi position is not the neutral position of the switch, the neutral one works normally.

Hi everyone,
I need the help of the community with this problem I am having.

I built a custom buttonbox out of an Arduino, everything works smoothly in joy.cpl, in this particular case I have an ON-OFF-ON switch for Landing Lights, Lights Off, Taxi Lights, just like the cockpit in-game.
I am having problems setting up the last button (number 7) on the alternative launcher, when double clicking the action to assign the input comes on top and I use the switch no command gets assigned and it stays like this.

Let’s start from the beginning.
I assigned this buttons using DirectX Button 5-6-7. This is the proof that they work with directX (Arduino Leonardo with ArduinoJoystickLib).

This is my current situation on BMS.

Weirdly if i move the switch to number 7 Alternative Launcher can see that it’s been pressed, what the hell is going on? Why wouldn’t it let me assign the command?

Hi @SoBad that is right with no doubt. These are good for the pilot model or any other device placed next to the computer monitor like I have.
