In the BMS manual it states that the Landing/taxi light is not modeled in the 3D cockpit. To use the switch, according to the manual, you need to use the Callbacks for the switch. I have perused all of the manuals in the docs folder without even one mention of what the Callbacks are for the light switch.
I flew a F/A -18E night mission yesterday. The takeoff and climb were stupendous from Osan Airbase in South Korea. It was a BAI mission. My AI wingman and I almost cleared the entire battlefield. In my setup for final approach was right on course. Flaps Full down, gear down and locked, and speed brake extended. I was seconds from touching down on runway 27R when I lost almost complete spatial awareness. I touched down, however I was not on any hardened surface and in the next moment I smashed into a facility on the airfield.
I realized then, I had no landing light. It was pure darkness. WOW.
If anyone knows of where to find the publication of these callbacks, please help me find an answer.
Thank you all.
