      <p>For everyone who wants to know, this weapon is highly unique. <br />Its outside appearance is not too impressive however inside it is a true wonder. It has a rack which holds all of the contents. <br /><br />Those contents consist of an SUU-66/B tactical munition dispenser that contains 10 BLU-108 armored personnel carriers each containing four puck shaped munitions which will destroy trucks and other support vehicles, and fire an explosively formed penetrator downwards at them. <br />Once dropped, the sensors cover an area fifteen hundred by five hundred feet. They lock onto a truck, tank, APC, SAM radar, SAM missile or whatever metal weapon on the ground. <br /><br />I am sure that coding this special weapon and its operation would take a lot of programming time and effort. However, it would be way cool to have this weapon perform as advertised. <br /><br />Respectfully <br /><br />Raven</p>

      It grieves me to bring this up, for I know how useful this wonderful piece of software has been during the past updates to BMS Falcon.
      With the BMS Falcon 4.36 update, if you run the Misson Commander program, and make any changes such as add a squadron or resupply the squadron stores, and then use the save option. When you open the saved campaign, you may as I have found, have no aircraft at any of your bases. Or have only a bare minimum of bases. I wish to high heaven that I knew how to code in Microsoft Studio to be able to help solve this issue. However, I have complete confidence that there are avid enthusiasts of this flight sim out there who would love to work on these problems.

    • Landing and taxi light in F-18 Hornet

      I am thankful for all the time invested in creating this theater. I have this one problem for which I hope someone has a solution.

      The F-18 cockpit has a taxi and landing light switch; however, it is inoperative. It makes landings and taxiing a real challenge.

      I have spent hours sifting through the controller’s portion of the setup screen without any success.

      I am probably overlooking something obvious.

      Thanks for the info. I imagine the development team is already working on updating all of the flyable aircraft cockpits in BMS falcon. It is truly amazing to see what they have brought to life in the falcon universe so far.

    • JSOW AGM-154A PROBLEM

      I am wondering if it just me or if BMD Falcon 4.36 has drastically changed the potency of the beloved JSOW. I have locked up a ground target i.e., SA-2 battalion. And I waited to release until I was within 20 nautical miles of the target and at an altitude of FL250. I fired a pair of AGM-154A with a double release. I couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. No damage to the battalion. I created a tactical engagement to test this, and I never hit anything during six sorties against this battalion.

      With 4.35 I used to rack up dozens of destroyed SAM sites with these babies.

      This 4.36 however, is still my favorite pastime.

      In all of the versions of BMS Falcon, the TWS sub mode has one indispensable attribute. That is its track file. This advantage provides the pilot or pilots with the ability to launch multiple AIM-120s at multiple enemy aircraft simultaneously. If the sim cannot handle one AIM-120 fired at one aircraft, the mission plan should immediately change to OCA flights against their airbases. It seems obvious to me that if this shortcoming were in the real world, the DOD would have rescinded the contract to the manufacturer.

      I truly hope that this make some sense.

    • Mission Commander Problem

      In the early morning of day 1 of a campaign the squadron in which I joined ran out of AIM-120C at 0600. I believe it was the first flight of the campaign.

      After the flight I opened Mission Commander to resupply the squadrons weapons. I had performed this task several times in BMS Falcon 4.35. With the new BMS Falcon 4.36, I tried it again. What happened was upon opening the campaign there was only one airfield shown and there were no scheduled flights. This fault occurred several times already. I had to start a whole new campaign if you know what I mean.

    • F-18 Landing and taxi light still inoperative in 4.36

      There is a button for the landing and taxi light, however, the switch itself does nothing.

      One other thing about the F-18, how do you turn on the MFD’s and HUD while starting the F-18?

      I finally remembered that since there is no actual switch in this aircraft, we are using the DCS Right (Sequence Position) which performs the List Page Operations.

      Hopefully a simple fix. As a matter of fact, I think at one time I knew how to do this. But now without that function I am not able to release any SPICE weapons.

      Any support would certainly be welcome
