I use it every day. Works good enough for me.
When you get around to flying the Tomcat with electronic battlefield pit, PM me. I’ve fixed the Phoenix missiles to work correctly (i’ve fixed a lot of things on this to sound/work correctly).
This includes:
-Smokeless motor for C model, with contrail.
-Thrust values for A and C model (the slower motors) extrapolated by Heatblur’s team
-Accurate lofting values based on published altitudes and speeds
-Accurate terminal dive values to take advantage of potential energy (based on theorized impact velocities)
However, still can’t change BMS’ missile lead calculations (just lead the target manually when you fire).

I’ve fixed the Phoenix to have a much more “realistic” loft and terminal profile, with net thrust based on the Heatblur’s computations (you might actually attain mach 4.5 at 80,000ft).
The missile is much deadlier at long range now, but still avoidable if you’re a decent pilot. PM me if you want it. Still trying to decide if I should make it an official thread…

You must add AIM-7 to F-18’s hardpoint by BMS editor.
MC can not do that alone.

Hey guys. I’m on Israel campaign, trying to force my F18a’s to carry Aim-7s. It won’t accept a max value other than 0. Any idea how to get this missile loadable on the jet? Thanks!
I usually end up overhauling everything. I’ll release one if this project ever gets finished.
