So I’m running at 60FPS and everything is super smooth, no FPS dips, no stutter…except for the particle effects like flares. When I dump flares the frame rate counter shows 60 the whole time and every other aspect of the sim is smooth as butter, but the flares look like they’re falling at 1 FPS. It’s quite strange. Has anyone else experienced this?

Issue has been resolved. I verified everything was working properly with HWiNFO (great tool btw). I tried replacing particlesys, turning all graphics options off or as low as they would go in both the configuration, sim, and through my Nvidia control panel and nothing changed…the particle effects still lagged. So finally I just decided to nuke my BMS install and start fresh. Updated to U5 and everything is back to looking smooth.

Does anyone have updated high resolution Kunsan taxiway/runway textures? I’m looking for something like Arty’s fantastic High Res Runways Taxiways pack, but for Kunsan.

Thanks for the help. I do not know exactly why, but it works now. So here is basically how I think I screwed up. When I was flying with a couple of guys, I think V3 of Rybo’s was not working properly with the latest version of Falcon BMS. So I did upgrade to V4, and I think when I went to the controller menu, and I tested things, I screwed something up.

What I just did now was to go to the setup controller menu, and I found the VHF clicked on it, and then I pushed the correct button on the warthog throttle, and it now works. I still think that when I originally test V4 of Rybo’s profile, the vhf button just was not working, and then I went to the control menu and screwed things up more, but oh well, it works now!

Description:
The 8th VFW caters to advanced virtual Viper drivers with what we believe to be the single most realistic training program in the community. The 8th VFW B-Course (IQT) is patterned after the real world B-Course syllabus and is both challenging and rewarding. It consists of 16-20 sorties covering aircraft handling, tactical formation, fighter fundamentals, ACM, basic surface attack and tactics, low altitude step down, and a B-Course graduation sortie that will test your knowledge, brevity, and tactics. Students can expect to put in approximately 20 hours of ground study and 40 hours of flight time to complete the course to obtain “Basic Mission Capable” status and participate in weekly wing sorties. We also offer a follow-on A-Course (MQT), which is also patterned after the real world A-Course, to obtain “Combat Mission Ready” status. Continuation training is ongoing upon completion of the A-Course to maintain currency and learn specialized tactics. We also offer an in-house developed ARMS (Aviation Resource Management System) based on the real software used by the USAF and many other air forces around the world. The 8th VFW ARMS tracks flight time, real world currency items, ranks, ribbons and awards, general stats, and includes a verbose logbook for each pilot. The 8th VFW ARMS also includes hundreds (literally!) of other functions for flight planning and flight filing. Combined with a second-to-none custom wing install we believe that we offer the single most realistic Fighter Wing experience for any advanced pilots willing to put in the time and effort to hone their skills and become one of the most lethal BMS Viper drivers in the community!

Actually I was going to record a small montage of carrier ops showing full cyclic ops. Seahawk flies off the deck, Hawkeyes shoot, then hornets, rhinos and growlers shoot. Then show them all coming back as a sort of full circle BMS carrier ops showcase.

You can do this in real time Rybo, just set the TO times for each A/C to a little less then yours, I have Hawkeyes and the like take off before me and it looks quite cool.

Lol, maybe ill change my breathing sounds to that, and use the fast breaths when under gs
