After I installed new drivers the knob was recognized as an axis in the ui.
But I have misunderstood the function of “Range Knob” option under the advanced/avionics page.
Keeping it banded for now since it works to have radar range assigned to it then.

Has anyone got Falcon BMS to recognize the rotary 1, the rotary knob on top of the throttle, as an axis?
It works good when banded, but i like to have it as an axis instead but no luck so far.

Now I feel really stupid. Was just looking at Krause’s tutorial “Control and Data Cartridge” but missed that.

I’ve tried with the search function but with no luck.
As soon as I choose any a-a weapon both mfd’s goes blank.
I can recall right mfd but not left with any weapon selectec.
Probably something I’m missing.

I have just installed Falcon BMS and started to do some traning missions. I think was among the first to buy a copy of Falcon 4 when it was released here in Sweden.
Flied for several years with the 87th Stray Dogs virtual fighter wing. But haven’t touched the stick for 10-15 years now. While I still understand how to fly the jet I must admit that I’m quite lost when it comes to weapons handling. Is there any good guides or manuals that cover this from scratch?
