Ah, makes sense now, gotta test the slav/bore method and practice ambushing a bit more. The 9x doesn’t seem to care much about that stream of fireworks (flares) coming out of the enemy’s plane but it’s better to have “him” unaware of my whereabouts and hit him defenseless. They did that to me many times, it’s only fair to return the favor :D. Thx for answering my question.

Ok, in Balkans i’ve found a flight of 2 Mig-21s, told my package to hold fire so i can destroy them (for practice and points) but my fellow warriors didn’t realize that i was the dude in charge, they kept firing and firing. All of them were like Fox 3 long, Fox 3 medium, Fox 3 close. I guess we wasted 6+ Missiles on 2 3rd gen fighters. I know they will defend themselves regardless of my commands in case of emergency but this situation was quite under control. Do i really have to burn ahead of my flight to get the first high-hit-probability-shot off?

Ah ok, thx for the replies. I am actually thinking about joining an online squad, but i wanna be sure to reach a certain skill-level first to be of any use, lol.

Many squads welcome noobies and patiently nurture them up the learning curve.

I would recommend checking out either the BMS manuals, or the lockheed martin produced technical orders describing aircraft operation.

Both of those have review processes in place to catch errors and misconceptions. I am yet to come across a video production teaching BMS concepts which has anything equivalent. I am also yet to come across a BMS teaching video which does not contain errors - including my own, even.

Even when Krause’ videos were not outdated by a new BMS release, they still had plenty of points that could have been improved by an iterative review process.

uTorrent has been my go-to program for years, until they made changes recently and it became “fatter.” I use qBitTorrent now.
