RE: !! Database Differences between AIM-9M/X and Python 4/5
@zamcesarc I’ve seen the YouTube videos of tests of DCS Python 5 also. Quite impressive. 180-degrees turn to rearward from the launching plane when launched right at the merge, and further turning on the maneuvering target.

RE: IAI Lavi
@Radium How are you testing? With Lavi flight model and F16 cockpit / avionics? I see that you are now adding the rivets for airframe panels etc. Looks very nice!

RE: IAI Lavi
@Radium “Jane’s Israeli Air Force” was a multi-jet simulator/game that had the Lavi. You might want to pick up a cheap copy at eBay to see what they did with it and their cockpit layout.

!! BMS 4.36.2 Update Released -- Impact on ITO 1.6.1
Is there any impact of the BMS Update 2 on ITO 1.6.1 ?

RE: IAI Lavi
Beautiful! Hope you will provide 2 skin-schemes: IAI Lavi white prototype/demonstrator, and IAF F16 camo style. Will you incorporate this in ITO?

!! Database Differences between AIM-9M/X and Python 4/5
Hi – Can someone give a quick summary, based on database parameters, on if/why it might be advantageous to use Python variants over the AIM-9 variants?

!! Ad-Dumayr SCUD Shelters and Warhead Storage
Hi – Thanks for the new ITO 1.6.1 !
With Dumayr airbase now in place, can I suggest an addition for the next version?
Just to the NE of Ad-Dumayr town, N of Ad-Dumayr Airbase, is Syria’s facility for sheltering their SCUD missiles, and additional secure facilities for storing their “special” warheads, i.e. binary Sarin warheads. The larger shelters in the lower-left are the entrances for underground storage of TELs. The smaller higher frequency shelters in the upper right are storage depots for munitions (warheads). Further to the NE is an open field with launcher sites already carved in and oriented toward Tel Aviv. And north of that is a large SAM base protecting the entire operation.
In a war, Syria would remove the warheads from the munitions depots and affix them to the missiles on the TELs. Then drive the TELs to the open field with preset launch areas, so that they will be aimed at Tel Aviv as soon as they are parked and anchored.
It would be very cool to have ground objectives set for all these, to be mission targets in TEs and Campaigns – defended by the airbase and the SAMs.

RE: Israel Theater of Operations for BMS 4.36
@vAiCon So, Falcon-Weeks are the exact opposite of Dog-Years: longer, not shorter.

ITO for BMS 4.36 ?
I know that 4.36 was just announced. Any word about an update to ITO to match the new BMS version?

3440 x 1440 is great in sim! but stretched campaign / setup screens || BMS 4.34
Running a new 3440 x 1440 LG curved monitor and the sim is great, when I get into the cockpit in the 3D world.
But the campaign / setup screens are stretched from a default 1024 resolution. Is there a fix / setting / workaround for this.
I will definitely live with stretched campaign map to enjoy the ultrawide 3D experience if necessary.

RE: !! In Which Release was "Go Around" "GA" Added to MITL Munitions?
@AsafBoy:
Go around feature and 4th gen MITL added with 4.33 U1 if i remember correctly.
also, 4.33 brought 1st or 2nd gen MITL onlyThanks, that is what I was looking for.
Edit:
As luck would have it, the 4.33.1 docs are pinned at the bottom of the releases page, and it’s in there.
As well, I was able to find it now in the 4.33.1 Release Notes:
Changes to MITL weapons data:
- AGM-62-1 and AGM-62-2 both assigned with specific sub type 5 in order to be recognized in the code as Walleyes. Both will be generation 1 MITL and will have the known Walleye “Double cross” sight in the WPN page.
- AGM-84E SLAM, changed guidance type from GPS to be MITL generation 3 (In RL it’s MITL weapon)
- AGM-84H SLAM-ER, changed from generation 3 to be generation 4 and have special generation 4 capabilities (Like loitering Go-Around option) <–----!!!
- GBU-15 lowered from Generation 2 to 1, in RL the GBU-15 isn’t GPS/NAV aware (EGBU-15 is something else)

RE: !! In Which Release was "Go Around" "GA" Added to MITL Munitions?
GA was implemented with MITL at 4.33, and sure it was in the docs.
BMS 1F-16CM-34-1-1 4.33.0 18 October 2015 – GA is not in the documentation.
BMS 1F-16CM-34-1-1 4.34.0 23 March 2019 – GA is in the documentation.
I think AsafBoy has the answer below.

!! In Which Release was "Go Around" "GA" Added to MITL Munitions?
I haven’t been able to find which Base or Incremental release this feature was added from the release notes. I know it’s not in 4.33 docs, but it is in 4.34 docs.

RE: !! BDA Photo Shows IAF Precision Strike on Syrian Chemical Weapons Depot
@AsafBoy:
Not too confusing …
Hezballa is the main force fonded by the iranians, which is actually a garila force that serves the Iranian ajenda.
Hezballa is much more distant then syria, and placed in south lebanon, near the Israeli-Lenabease border.to conclution, Iran had it’s foot all over the middle-east, even in the distant yeman in the south or israel in the west.
Iran is deeply and directly involved in Syria. They have thousands of their own troops in Syria under Iranian officers. They are now starting to build their own infrastructure, starting with missile factories. Israel has stated that they will not be allowed to continue with those missile factories, or with building their own airbases or naval bases. That’s why I erred in the title of this thread, because the government has already set the redline, and we are waiting on when the strikes will come against Iranian facilities being built in Syria. The current strike was against a Syrian chemical weapons center, which is pretty egregious in its own right.

RE: !! BDA Photo Shows IAF Precision Strike on Syrian Chemical Weapons Depot
toooo confusing….
Iranian factory in Syria? those countries have a distance of 210 klm (closest) among their borders and an Iraq country in between…
And those might be like the Chemicals in Iraq they are still looking for? but this is intelligence matter.
About precision yeap they look superb… Where was those located? just to see the distance those IAF’s had to go…
