Same problem here, and I had the same results with 4.32. I tried the mission with 2 GBU-10 in 4.33 and with 4 GBU-12 or 6 retarded Mk-82 in 4.32, and after my strike I told my wingman to attack the remaining ground targets. Everytime we destroyed at least 7-8 targets but the mission is always a failure (but, at least, my rating is “Average”).

RE: Munitions Handbook
At this point I see no alternatives execpt making by myself a table with the basic specs of every bomb model. The problem is the source. Let’s say that for LGBs I need the following informations: model’s name, weight of the warhead and its type (general purpose/penetration); for the CBUs I need: model’s name and submunition type. Do you think that those information, if taken from TacRef 2.0, are still valid for BMS 4.33?

RE: Munitions Handbook
Ok, but assuming that BMS devs aren’t pilots, ground crew, aeronautical or weapon engineers, for them WHAT is the reality?
This: www.wikipedia.com
This: www.f-16.net
This: fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/index.html
…or something else?
I agree that there must be some reference, but if they don’t provide a specific documentation for the ordnance (like the manuals they have done for avionics, procedures, navigation, etc) they should at least share with us the references they used. -
RE: Munitions Handbook
Ehm… thanks but I already know f-16.net and Wikipedia.
Ok, let’s try to come to a conclusion:1- can I assume that a (single) document containing a comprehensive and updated version of the ordnance database simply doesn’t exist (for now)?
2- is there something like a list of “trusted” sites or online references (like Wikipedia itself) so that if I don’t know the specs of a certain weapon I can go there, and know that what I read is what I find in BMS?
-
RE: Munitions Handbook
You chart is partially useful, but the -34 pdf is not. Or at least, I can’t find in that document the differences between the various GBU or CBU versions.
-
RE: Munitions Handbook
Absolutely. But I found that it doesn’t show adequately the specs of all the weapon versions (it doesn’t even say if a certain weapon is usable by an F-16). And I think it’s a bit strange that, with all those manuals, charts, checklists an so on, one can’t have a simple paper reference usable in flight.

RE: Munitions Handbook
Darkman answered me in the Documentation section (sorry for the duplicate but I got no answers here and I thought I sent the post in the wrong section) that “all documentation valid (and validated) for BMS 4.33 was included in the installation”. So, can someone indicate me where in this documentation can I find the complete ordnance description for the F-16?
Thanks. -
Munitions handbook
Greetings,
I wish to know if the “Falcon 4 TacRef” handbook is still valid for BMS 4.33 or it needs to be updated. Also, I noticed that there’s at least one error in the weapons names: the GBU-10I/B is named in the Loadout screen as GBU-10G/B (or, at least, I presume it’s the same bomb…). Do you know if there are other errors one have to be aware of?
Thanks. -

RE: Changing weapon station in A-G
Thank you for the immediate answer!
One last thing (sorry if I don’t open a new thread…): is there a document, a manual section, a chart, where I can find the list and the specs of all the F-16 ordnance? I’m a bit confused with all the A-G weapons and versions (especially CBUs and LGBs). -
Changing weapon station in A-G
Greetings,
for LGB release, the training manual says that is possibile to automatically start a gentle turn after bomb release by inducing a specific asymmetry in the loadout. So, if I want a left turn I can select the right weapon station and after the release the airplane will lower the left wing. The manual says also that I can change the station by pressing the MSL STEP button. The problem is that doing so I change release method (CCIP-CCRP-DTOS), not the weapon station. So, where’s my error?
Thanks. -
RE: 4.33 Issues (Known or not)
I have the following graphic problem: today I was exploring the new TGP capabilities, and observed trough the Sniper pod a couple of Mk-82 LDGP falling on a target at Kotar. In the first moment the explosion appears as a black square expanding around the impact point (like a shockwave), then it disappears and all is fine. Is there a method to eliminate that ugly effect?

RE: Beta Release: GPT (cockpit texture extraction, remote cockpit control, shm mirror)
Partially solved…
I can remove the blue band almost entirely by lowering a bit the MFD brightness (with the BRT cursor, I’m not talking about the brightness level of my lcd screens). -
RE: Beta Release: GPT (cockpit texture extraction, remote cockpit control, shm mirror)
Greetings, I’m having a strange problem! When I select the TGP page (or Maverick display, or TFR), if the image includes the sky or a zone near the horizon I see a blue, flickering band in the right side of the MFD. I have two small, extra LCD screens, an the problem is present in every screen (it goes from a screen to the other if I use the “swap” function). I also noticed that this happens only if the MFD window is on the right side of the screen, if I try to move it on the left, the blue bar gradually disappears as the window moves. I don’t think it’s an hardware issue, since if I go back to the desktop and I load a picture, it’s perfect on both screens.

RE: TGP on the left MFD
As I heard from an old viper pilot FCR is selected to display on the left mfd in order to more easily press any buttons as and to align (in mind) with the mouse cursor on the throttle.
Can we say that for the same reason a “young” pilot (now that the FCR plays a much little role in the A-G operations) would prefer the TGP page on the left?
-
RE: TGP on the left MFD
So I can assume that it depends on how often the pilot has to use the MFD buttons for a specific page? The most “interactive” pages tends to be on the left?
-
TGP on the left MFD
Greetings,
I know that in the “standard” A-G mode the left MFD is used for the radar, and the right one for the SMS/TGP/Maverick page. However, it’s possible for the pilot to select the page he wants in both the MFDs, or even swap them quickly. So my question is: is there a particular reason for keeping the FCR page on the left? In RL it can happens that a pilot sets the TGP page on the left? -
BMS with a ultra-wide monitor?
Greetings,
I wish to know if BMS can natively support the resolution of an ultra-wide monitor. For example 3440x1440, like this one:http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-34UC97
Thanks.

RE: Toms Korea 2014
Outstanding mod! But I have two questions.
In vanilla BMS, you can change the season simply by selecting it in the setup interface. With Tom’s mod, the season change is permanent until you overwrite the terrain textures again? And if this is the case, the season selection in the setup becomes useless?
Second question: it’s possible to see somewhere a preview of the other mods included in the large package (clouds, explosions, etc.)?
Thenks!
