@MaxWaldorf:
Guys,
I wrote the same thread 2 years ago and look how it grew so far… Falcon Lounge.
You can like it or despise it, you’re free but one thing you can never take away from me: the amount of time, dedication and will to make that project come to life!
Having an online school is really hard so I built up that self teaching course to have people brought on tracks to get their journey on BMS correctly.
It is not being obnoxious or else. It is just the result of having myself been part of several initiative like EDC for Checksix or even training directly people at first on the lounge.
The result is always mixed for several reasons:
Real life… Yeah some people forget this is a game / sim…
Student’s efforts are not consistent… (Training between course is mandatory)
That doesn’t always help people getting on the MP side… (Too many are just submerged by the quantity of info a MP session brings)
Not all are willing to share their knowledge or feel fit for it… (No offense but teaching is not easy)
…
Anyway, the best way I found is getting an active community being able to support people on their needs by the help of the other members. Because in the end, many feel stronger and willing to give time if they are supported by others and see it is just a matter of dedicating time.
In the end, BMS is just like real life. Money doesn’t fall from the sky, you need to work hard to achieve your goals…
The path is mostly your own but a little push along the way by others make the difference!
So get your hand on the stick! There hundreds new people everyday on the Lounge to help without asking anything in return!
Cheers
Touché!!!
Oh boy i remember back in AF were none of this existe and were “begging” for training with sqd. from around the world.
I remember that one of my firsts “real” online training as with the belgians in a online meet.
Back in 06 i was 18 years old and my english was average theirs too and just to start communicating was a mess 😄
Ohh miss those days…
