1.) Basically, as close as possible to the RL setup (taking into account that the X52 Button layout is not identical), using the ‘correct’ BMS HOTAS functions (i.e., those that have multi-function and/or short-press/long-press functionality), then adding a handful of other ‘useful stuff’ to fill out the open spaces. For RL functionality, refer the BMS dash 1 in the Docs folder around pages 26 and 52.
2.) Depends partly on if you need the twist rudder or not. If you do NOT need the twist rudder, then it is possible to assign the cursor x/y slew to analog axes. Not sure precisely how that’s done as I do need the twist rudder. In that case, the only real option is to use the SST keypress emulator and assign cursor slew to keys and ranges in that program (as is done in the profile linked above).
