RE: DMS up and X55
Snell created an outstanding X-55 profile. It emulates the real HOTAS very closely, includes reasonable and useful things on the throttle switches, and uses only Mode 1.
See his thread at the top of this forum or here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?24506-X55-keyfile-Full-DX-Programmed'Rabbit
Have to agree with AttackRabbit about Snelles profile, good package for X-55 owners wanting to ditch the saitek software for DX.

He’ll be back…
Knock-Knock
Would have been here asking you questions but had to fix X-55 stick rudder twitching. After the fix the roll axis started drifting from left to right resolved the problem by deleting the ‘axismapping.dat in the config folder’ and installing Saitek SST (DELETE) hasta la vista baby.

RE: X-55 Key File Editor.xls
As I get further into bms Snelle I just wanted to have the ability to change keys to my preferences. Imported your key file into the editor to see if I could understand which Primary Input Devices you selected, there’s no drop down box in the DX settings for the X-55 and also wanted to experiment with the key file editor as it looked an easy option than using notepad and the possibility of me damaging the key file. Will go back to the keyfile manuals and make DX section mandatory read, thank you for the advice.
P.s what primary input devices can I use

RE: X-55 Key File Editor.xls
Lynzoid I have been flying with Snelle key file, everything is operational as intended and the mouse analog directional pad works beautifully (btw thank you Snelle for sharing).
Importing Snelle key file into the key editor worked fine but before you can import a config you have to set the Primary Input Device? I was unsure which Input Devices to select as there was no option for the X-55 stick and throttle so I choose anything that did not conflict. Options being TM Cougar and Saitek Devices no conflicts and if i wanted to make my own key file i would also need to know which Input device to select thats why i’m asking… if it makes no sense forgive me im tired looking at these key files. -
X-55 Key File Editor.xls
Could someone help me with the bms 4.33 key file editor my brain has gone into melt down after reading the pdf’s. In the DX settings which Primary Input Device do i select from the drop down box for the X-55 stick and throttle. As i can not see any options for this brand of joystick and throttle. Thank you for any help.
