Well, I am using the mouse to click the epu test button. If I remember well, I just clicked once because the switch hold in place. I am not sure I held the mouse button on the switch. I will have to try again on my next flight.

yep! I also tried with higher RPM as suggested in the manual. I am using Ramp start training mission 01. Maybe it is due to F16 model used in this mission?

Hello,
I am new to BMS and currently learning the Ramp Start. I just can’t perform EPU checks as per BMS checklist or training manual. I follow all steps but nothing happens when I switch the EPU test button…
Is there anything I could have done wrong for the test to trigger?
Best regards,
Pierre
Thank you! I manage to get this working but unfortunately, it works only if you do not have disable full screen optimization checked in proprettes of BMS exe. And this is a needed option to get your full resolution screen inside 3d game due to a last W10 update that messed this up…
Well I’ll have to do without Reshade I guess for the time being.
Thanks for help anyway,
Pierre
Thank you for the answer.
That must be it. Any workaround about this issue?
Pierre
Hello,
I am trying to install Reshade on 4.33 U5 but the game won’t launch after the files are put in Bin x64 folders.
Anyone got success installing Reshade on the last version of BMS? Is there a specific version that works with BMS?
I just want to add a bit of Lumasharpen and Curves to the game.
Best regards,
Pierre
Thank you so much! That was it! It works great now.
Such an important tips should be in the manuel or at list pinned on the forum.
You made my day.

Hello Vipers pilots,
I installed BMS 4.33 U5 yesterday and I am now to the step where I am tuning graphics setting. I decided to force all AA and AF settings through Nvidia Inspector and uncheck those in-game.
Well, the 1st time I tried the Navigation Trainning TE, graphics were really nice. Then, I exit the game and came back but now in the same TE (and all others) it seems that my Nvidia setting are no more applied. I got no AA at all and it is horrible. I triple check everything but I can’t find out what’s going on.
Anyone got an idea what I could have screw up? Did not change anything related to graphics between my tries.
I am running W10 64 I5 6600K and GTX1070.
Hope you might help me !
Best regards,
Pierre
Thank you for yours advices.
I was aware of this tips (look up a bit and recenter) but as I move a lot on my chair (:p) I am using TIR recenter a lot and I find it a bit annoying having to do that all the time. I would like to be able to recenter to my ideal viewpoint instantly (HUD + MFD) when in the rush. Well, it seems I will have to get use to it anyway^^ It is only the beginning with TIR for me.
But what about that 2nd keypress on “3” to change default viewpoint as written in the manual?
Pierre
Hi,
You may try to play with transparency anti-aliasing setting in your video card setting menu. It works well to suppress lines shimering on MFD but cost a lot in performance…
