Yep quite honestly easier then the viper for me, dont have to worry about lights, just put the thing on the thing!

flying the lights is the best way to do it straight and level, turns technically are not any different really but yea… i use sight for that with the lights to correct.
funny thing is, i only learned this after trying to refuel the harrier (could not for the life of me do the hornet) after that it was flying the lights and now i can hook almost any refuel-able jet on to the boom, night and day turn or level.
of course i could refuel before i did it in the harrier but i’ve gotten smoother since because of the harrier.
oh btw. that F-15 refuel thing can be done in the harrier as well. the boards on those are agressive as hell you can stop on a dime with those instead of a slow slide like the viper and the hornet
