@GrizzlyBear83 I did this way back in the F4 Alliance days to simulate the WSO. Not with the Eagle specifically but with other two seaters. Just getting back into Falcon BMS. I’m going to look at the Eagle. After doing so, if I’m feeling nostalgic and find some time, I might work on something…

RE: 4.36 Kuwait 64
@eddropper Kudos to you and your team. Those screenshots alone remind me of the old game boxes we used to see in the stores. Had us salivating over buying it and getting it home to fire it up on the PC.
Very nostalgic!

RE: Development of new aircraft and cockpits
I disagree with the sentiment that Falcon is just an F-16 sim. I say it is the first in many aircraft originally envisioned by Spectrum Holobyte and later Microprose in their Electronic Battlefield Series. Case in point, SH after releasing Falcon, developed and released the Hornet and Mig-29.

I would say post VR implementation, these shis should be the order of development. Also, the A-10A(and C) is a no Brainer since there are plenty of data and manuals that are ripe for developers. Heck, Ayes, Xis and myself came pretty darn close to what many are suggesting here during the F4 Alliance days with functional releases of aircraft packages for use with the FlyAnyPlanes patch when it came out. Heck, we were pretty close to release of the B-One Bomber too.

RE: MicroProse is back on the Falcon series
@Fire112 I wonder what this means for the BMS team? Clearly the copyright had to cost some major dollars and MPS will need to recoup via sales.

Uinstalling Older Versions of BMS
What is the best way to uninstall older versions of BMS without compromising the Falcon 4 or causing registry issues? I have .35 and .36. Is there a formal uninstaller?

RE: How to save your neck in VR
@Kiwispirits i knew this issue was coming once vr was implemented. I think simmers will respect pilots more since they now see what the simple act of turning one’s head to “check 6” really takes. And that’s under a 1G load. Imagine having to do that at 3 -5 G.
Sounds like a nifty tool but I hope it doesn’t become the new cheat device.

RE: Issues with the Sun
@Dee-Jay not sure what you mean by that. It doesn’t look right.

Issues with the Sun
Hi team, is there something that can be done about the Sun? The Sun in RL doesn’t always emit beams of light like that in exactly 6 points.

RE: How to use the COM‘s in VR?! 😳
@Rainmaker use Voiceattack. It will be more i.mersive anyway.

RE: Cursor radar
@mppzgz what version of Vjoy and windows 10 do you have?

RE: Cursor radar
I thought vjoy stopped working with the latest version of Windows?
@mppzgz said in Cursor radar:

By the moment, using joystick gremlin it seems work properly (more testing needed).
Do not open any saitek software. Drivers (included) only is neccesary. Saitek soft is forbidden.
1.- Install Vjoy setup
2.- Set up a Vjoy
3.- Delete the slider and implement cursor as DX (limitation of axis in DX need to loose the slider…) . Use this: x52_ministickFIX_no_SLIDER.reg
4.- Install HidHideMSI.msi
5.- Hide the original X52 HOTAS to all software except joystick gremlin using the following process at HidHide :
- Open joystick gremlin AS ADMINISTRATOR ALWAYS and Load X5220221231buttons.xml
7.- Go to Tools/calibration. Move ALL the axes and center it at 50%. Then press centered, then save.
Press the console remote icon to start working.
8.- Go to the launcher and map all the buttons as Vjoy and the axes included the cursor from Vjoy
Pray.
