My setup is the following one :
AMD 7 5800X // GeForce 3060TI // 32GO DDR4 // 1TO SSD hard disk
Could someone give me clues to solve the problem ?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Hawk
@Migbuster Thanks a lot, i was aware of this post but now I understand it describes the blome cover behavior as it is and this description overrides the actual manual (Dash34 + Training Manual).
Cheers,
Hawk
Dear all,
After a few discussions/in-test flights with BMS team mates, I wonder if the “Uncage” procedure is still required on AGM65D.
I do not know if it is actually an issue, a bug or matter of manual update (Dash 34, p. 216 --> UNCAGE // WPN SOI // Blow dome cover AGM-65D ).
The point is, with AGM65D (1 or 2 or 3 per station), “uncaging” the missile seems to be not required anymore when the manual says it should be.
In the meantime, the 4.36.1 AGM65L training mission quotes p.182 : “Please note about a new procedure in 4.36.1: after the L-Maverick is aligned you have to uncage it like all other -65 models (S-Symbol appears on the WPN page).”.
This adds more confusion. From my humble understanding, there are 3 types of AGM 65 in BMS : D (which SHOULD require uncage but it seems it is not the case. G which doesn’t require uncage. L which require “Uncage” // S-Symbol on WPG page then appears).
So, at the end of the day, what do we have to expect ? What is the normal behavior ?
Thanks for your help.
Best,
Hawk
Nice feature, I will try ASAP.
Thanks for the effort and the sharing.
Cheers,
hawk
It’s a brand new mission made from scratch in 436.
I confirm your work-around : it works fine when I use your method, thanks !
Hello,
I got a weird issue with aera perimeters on WDP Map.
As shown on this screen, I wanted to highlight two relevant perimeters for my next Multiplayer TE :
WDP draws the line as if the coordinates were so to speak shifted north-west.
First time I experience such an issue.
Do you guys have any idea what I have done wrong ? Thanks for your help !
Hawk

Hello,

It is an issue I experienced when I first installed mi Seb ICP.

There is a quick solution. Add those lines to your “Falcon BMS.cfg” :

set g_nNumOfPOVs 2 // Override number of POV hats. Should be in 0 - 2 range, -1 is override disabled (default)
set g_nPOV1DeviceID 1 // Override POV1 hat device ID, -1 is override disabled (default)
set g_nPOV1ID 0 // Override POV1 hat ID. Should be in 0 - 1 range
set g_nPOV2DeviceID 2 // Override POV2 hat device ID, -1 is override disabled (default)
set g_nPOV2ID 0 // Override POV2 hat ID. Should be in 0 - 1 range

“Device ID” value depends on the sorting of your device (check your “Device sorting” file).

I hope this helps !

Cheers,
Hawk

OK, thanks for the extra info. I’m still really at a loss to suggest what might be happening there. Particularly if you aren’t experiencing the same problem consistently. I’d have to imagine that there was something slightly different about that flight compared to your normal experiences that fed into the outcome but we don’t really have enough insight to piece together what that was. I agree that apparent game connection issues in addition to IVC problems could be significant.
I guess all I can suggest now is keep an eye on it and see if the problem crops up again.
Thanks for your patience, there is no drama. Should this situation arise once more, I’ll give you a more comprehensive feedback . By the way, I have done 3 MP flights without any problem since. I’ll keep U posted.
Best,
Hawk

Regarding U6 KO, this means I was unable either to emit or receive communications, with two exceptions : when my flight lead or the other flight leader spoke, I could hear them.
I hope this is clearer ^^.
Is the problem still persisting for you?? That explanation does start to clarify but there are still a lot of unknowns in there. For example, are you talking about human flight lead and human other flight lead?? And do you mean that “emit” means you can’t send a message to the AI or can’t be heard by other human players??
I’d really need to know what all players were on as far as frequencies were concerned. There are a lot of variables unaccounted for… Consider, it’s possible that if a human flight lead were talking on UHF GUARD then you should hear them but unless you were both on the same UHF primary frequency you could not talk to him. IOW, within the parameters you describe I can think of at least one “working as designed” scenario that matches.
Not trying to be difficult here – more like needing to know more to try and help more specifically. IVC works for the majority most of the time – not something we hear a lot of functional concerns about in the normal run of things. Which is not to say “it’s you!” so much as: take heart, it can probably be made to work if we can figure out the hitch.
Hi Boxer,
Sorry for the late answer ! I must say I never experienced such weird behavior from IVC neither before nor after this issue.
To answer specifically to your questions, when I talk about flight leaders, I talk about human ones. Concerning emitting, both IA and human could’nt hear me except into intraflight.
One more information who could be relevant (or not…) : during this multiplayer flight, one of the player, playing the role of Leader Package, could’nt see me in 2D screen (when selecting my flight, he could see other human players callsigns but not mine). Whatmore, when he once switched to the VHF frequency of my flight in 3D, he could not hear. And I could not hear him. I didn’t share thoses infos in my first post as I had no idea it was happening when I declared this incident.
Best,
Hawk
