Hi guys, I am littlw frustarted with the camapign (Rolling Thunder).

I started anew from Kunsan with the F-16 and noticed the following:

• The first few flights generated were hyper-long-range suicide missions
• generally the package composition doesn’t include escort, in a red-air-infested airspace
• I notice one F-15SK flight of 4 aircraft that had no weapons

Because I manually deleted the suicide missions, thinking this screwed something up, I restared the campaign from scratch, and basically the same issues appaered again, plus:

• huge delays at Kunsan, airplanes get stuck on the taxiway and flights are delayed by some 10-15 minuites, some never depart and “abort” in place, shutting down in the middle of the taxiway.
• As part of a OCA package, my targets were destroyed before arrival (I was on time) by the other flights in the package.

In general it looks like AI missio planning is not cohesive, sending lone flights deep into enemy territory wihtout any support, and not providing enough CAP and escort flights

So, I tried to set sliders and PAKs, seems better but then it hardly generates an flights for the Kunsan squadrons.
What still happens is, the AI is usign up all aircraft to do BARCAPs in the south regions, so no aircraft are availabel to create packages.
I rpoably have to work with the sliders some more to find the right balance, I just don’t remmebr it being so “bad” in previous versions.

Hi all,

given the historic news that BMS has now aircaft-specific avionics, starting with the F-15, I haven’t seen a mention of how users will manage different controller profiles for them.

E.g. the F-15 Hotas is very different from the F-16, are BMS devs planning to have a separate profile and keystrokes for each aircraft? Kinda like DCS does, which seems to make sense?

Hi guys,

reading the manual on th eupdated ECM it says “The operation modes of ECM (ECM priority), AVNC (Avionics Priority), and STBY are controlled by the CMS LEFT switch. The switch sequence is STBY => AVNC => ECM => AVNC => ECM. AVNC and ECM act as ECM consent. CMS RIGHT changes the operational mode to STBY. Avionics priority vs ECM priority as described above still apply.”

Ok, so tried but all CMS LEFT does is release flares. Also I see no indication of ECM mode on the hud, FCR or any display in the cockpit.

What am I missing?

Hi guys, doesn anyone have any info on the GE engine of the block 50, when it comes to max RPM?
Is it normal that MIL power is at 108%?

According to some info I found max RPM shoudl be 104%.

@Mav-jp what about onset rate? Maybe I’m wrong but it feels different than it did in previous versions.
I am talking about 22k lbs, sea level and 450kts I should hit 9 g very quickly, instead it takes several seconds before it eventually ends up at 9.

I just gave the Block 50 a go, and I can hardly reach 9 g now, more like 8.6-8.8 at 450kts sea level. G-onset rate seems slower than before too.
