@Atlas said in Ice’s Falcon BMS Profile Updated for BMS 4.35 U3:
I’m about to give this a try, can someone please confirm this works with 4.36? Thank you!
so it works out of box with 4.36?
or do I have to change some of the setting?

thanks linknet for the update.
so now yame is needed or not?
I hear that helios 1.6 can do cockpit extraction by itself.
why don’t you use it?
does yame work better?
do I need to install bms 4.33 for yame 1.2.1 to work in bms 4.34?
I have just installed Helios 1.6.3309.0 for trying ertiyu and wheelchock’s profiles.
The profiles get started on my touchscreen monitor,
however the cockpit extraction does not seem to work.
what is wrong here?
how do I set it up?
please advise.
helios 1.6 allows the extraction of MFDs as does MFDE.
No need for third-party software.
Wheelchock makes an F16 profile from captzeen’s profile, it is still in testing and requires a version of Helios which is not yet official.
I also made a profile, the link where I speak about it.
Hi ertiyu,
I am interested in trying your profile, would you send it to me?
thank you.
this is exactly what I need to hear.
thanks all for the replies and sharing your experiences.
Hi Guys,
I am thinking about upgrading to win 10.
I hear that in the past some people have some issues with bms.
Are the issues resolved with the latest win 10 version?
is it now fully compatible with bms 4.33 /4.34?
please advise.
Hi Guys,
After a long hiatus, my warthog hotas refuses to start.
When I run target script editor, I always get yellow triangle on control panel>devices and printer> both warthog joystick & throttle.
I never encounter this problem before.
When I right click it and choose troubleshoot:
“Enable device” window appears.
When I choose “apply this fix”,
“the driver for thrustmaster HID filter 02 is not installed. Install the latest driver for the device”
Then I download the new driver from here:
https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/hotaswarthogflightstick-en/
choose
Package drivers - Hotas Warthog - 2018_TMHW_1 + Firmware
then I install it.
then I restart the computer.
but when I run target script editor again, the same error remains.
“the driver for thrustmaster HID filter 02 is not installed. Install the latest driver for the device”
what is wrong here?
please advise.
I am using 3440x1440 gsync 90hz with no problem at all.
But my windows is still win7/64.
yes, for bms 60hz is enough.
but if possible get one with gsync or freesync.
I find no screen tearing is very nice.
since my hit rate with maverick is around 60%,
to save time, I want to make a te mission with maverick already powered on and boresighted ready to launch,
so I can just practise only the launching process.
is it possible to do it?
please advise.
ok I have checked my falcon bms.cfg,
and:
set g_fAIRefuelSpeed is 1
but in the aar training mission, my wingman (AI) is definitely refuel faster than mine,
so you can only make it faster but not slower?
Hi Ice,
Thanks for your pit’s picture.
It roughly give me some ideas how to set up mine.
And it seems I get the same problem too, I need to put the main monitor higher because of the touchscreen.
But to look at higher screen make my neck uncomfortable after a while.
Have you tried to make a hole of the table so you can put the touchscreen under the main screen?
It seems will be more comfortable that way but more things to do.
Please let me know what do you think.
thanks for the profile.
what does IFF in and IFF out do?
I only play sp, do I need it?
I’ve checked my .xml file and the uploaded .xml file and both are working fine. I wonder if you’ve messed with it before loading it? Basically, if you open the .xml file in Notepad++, the RWR entry should read:
Note that the entry is there by default. I’ve tried this on a different computer, downloaded the .xml file from MediaFire, and it works with no problems at all.
yes Ice,
this is the culprit:
Y:\YAME64\gauges\rwr.png
on my computer, I install yame to drive c,
so the address should be:
C:\YAME64\gauges\rwr.png
ok I think I find the culprit.
on yame > client > gauges > ew, the background image is ticked,
but there is no image, only black.
so I press image and select rwr.png.
now the rwr looks like what it should be,
I have to do some further test but for now it seems to work fine.
Yes, VISIBLE, TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND, and BACKGROUND IMAGE are all ticked.
so I untick and tick all of them, press apply.
then start yame client,
and yes, creating windows mask to 100%.
but the white rwr window is still there.
however, the rwr seems to work, I can see the number 16 of my wingman,
but the background is white, and there is no picture.
this is really weird.
Hi Ice,
When I start yame client with your xml, the RWR window is white.
And it does not seem to work in the game.
Why is that?
thanks Ice for the update.
I will try it.
for the single screen version,
does it have the moving map?
