I am having the same issue here and updated the antivirus exception list with no change. I’m not familiar with UAC. My issue is a little different because I only get the CTD from trying to COMMIT on TIGER SPIRIT, ROLLING FIRE, and IRON FORTRESS. The other three campaigns work 4.0 so far.

RE: Anyone else had this mouse issue?
I am having the same problem as well. And same with Spirit, I had it at first but after all of my messing around with the system has disabled that capability. Vital if you want to be changing the HDG/CRS/ALT knobs. Please let me know if anyone has a fix for this. Thanks.
UPDATE: I did get it to work. What worked for me was putting both FOV and view zoom to keyboard.

RE: 4.33 Issues (Known or not)
When you edited your bands, did you use an ‘Advanced Command’ button press? If so, are you using modifiers with your keys? I mentioned on another thread that I think you have to get the key sequence correct or you end up with a stuck key press (there’s a mention of this in the key file manuals). For example, if you were using ALT+LEFT for radar cursor slew, the sequence in the advanced command window should be ALT LEFT ALT LEFT - if it looks like ALT LEFT LEFT ALT then I think that causes an issue.
Just as a head’s up, I changed everything to (for example from this quote) ALT LEFT LEFT ALT and it fixed most of my problems. Thanks for the advice here.
UPDATE: I just found the solution that fixed 100% of my problems. I can’t believe I haven’t done this yet…read the instructions. lol Based on info from the Saitek manual (plus about 2 hrs. of putzing with it), I’ve found that for the first two of three sections of the advanced programming…only use the key press, not the release. Then in the third section (labeled ‘release’) that is where you use only the release command. I went one further and only released the key itself (and not the CNTL/SHFT/ALT).
Basically, I’ve been profiling this stick wrong for the last 3 years and for some reason, it has never caused a problem until 4.33.

X-65 Throttle axis not correct in game.
I am having some trouble with my X-65 throttles in game. The ‘scale’ isn’t being recognized correctly (not sure of the terminology here). What I mean is in the control panel (and using that as a reference), if you run the throttles from 0% to 100% you will see just that on the display (that it goes all the way to 0% and 100%). BUT when you assign the throttles in game and check the scale there, it cuts off the portion of the throttle movement above the mil detent and below the idle detent. So in other words, if you go to the mil detent on the throttle, it will register (only in the game) at 100% vice the more accurate 90%. Has anyone seen this yet? My forum search didn’t come up with anything.
UPDATE:
It just occurred to me that I wasn’t using compatibility mode (BTW, this was all after an update to win10). So I went a little high and right, I reset the .exe files to run in compatibility mode (win7) and as an administrator. -
RE: Can't Fire Weapns with either keyboard or Saitek X36F/X35T system
Good call on the key mapping. Blu3wolf is spot on about using the BMS features. I recommend first finding a good key map that you like (I prefer one that uses the 10-key for the ICP) then map all the ‘HOTAS-…’ features on the stick as close to how the actual F-16 stick was set up. Only go to your Saitek software for features that you need to have access to that is not offered by the HOTAS features. I would give you my .key file but I can’t figure out how to upload it. Maybe someone out there has a good one.

RE: Can't Fire Weapns with either keyboard or Saitek X36F/X35T system
That’s a strange problem. The first thing that resonates with me is that the stick works 4.0 in FSX and in the BMS options menu.
That tells me there is something going on with the game which for me points to the install. If you want a “scorched earth” sort of solution, I would say un-install and re-install. Good chance that doesn’t solve your problem but with my years of experience w/ BMS, I know that a lot of my weird problems with the game circle back to a sloppy install. …not that you were sloppy about it but the install of this game is very finicky and you have to follow every step precisely.
Hopefully someone else comes on here with some more professional/direct advice than I can offer.
Good luck

RE: Can't connect to server.
I have been flying Falcon online for over 10 years now and I’ve never had this much trouble getting it to connect online. I could use some help. To make this go quicker, trust me when I say that ports 2934-7, 9987-9989 are opened. I say that because that process of doing/confirming took about 3 days before we trusted it. Win firewall and my personal firewall can be shut down and I still get the “failure to connect to server” message. Have you guys had to do anything else to get this to work? Any help would be appreciated. If I have to do a rain dance while wearing a grass skirt in my driveway to get it to connect, let’s just say I’ll consider it.
