@toon1ce said in Unable to click on some switches on the f18D:
Hi good day, I have the latest Falcon BMS and I am not able to click on some of the switches on the F18D. I tried to select the switch for the engines and hand breaks and more it seems that it is not enabling me to switch them. Please Help.
Thank you.
Hi, Toon, This is a fairly easy fix . Go to -https://www.mediafire.com/file/22t9ws10yc60ncc/3dbuttons.dat/file , download, and go to x/BMS 4.36/Data/your theater/Art/ckptart/1409* and F-18D (if present) folder(s). Backup up your 3dbutton.dat file and replace with the new one.
To confirm that 1409 is the correct folder(it may possibly vary with theater)-With your theater set as the active, go to the Editor on the main BMS Launcher, then vehicle and aircraft tabs, then find F-18D in the top list and click on it. In the Vehicle Data Details window that pops up, click on “CT Record” (top left corner). In the window that then pops up look in the middle for the "normal " tab in the Graphics section. That number will be the same as your Theater’s Art folderYou can quickly tell if you have the right file in the right place. If the trim knob on the left console has a “+” hotspot, you are are good-to-go.
BTW, https://www.mediafire.com/file/5qjvs9l5y9p9c1y/BMS_Fighters_Manual_%25282%2529.pdf/file section IIB gives a somewhat better cockpit diagram . There are also Checklists in the Files if you want a more Hornet “feel”. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/9w9b7frobcfg9/F-18+Checklists
