RE: Flounder's X52 Pro Keyfile/DX Profile for BMS 4.33
Yes, I have the same problem. That is a Saitek problem. You can see the jitter in the Saitek Control Panel, without BMS running at all. It’s possible that if the pot were cleaned it would improve. Moving FOV to ‘button’ control instead of axis control could work; rearranging axes could also be tried (not sure how good that would be …. it seems like all the axes jitter a little bit). You can also look at setting a deadzone or at changing the FOV increments (in the Falcon BMS cfg file).
Sorry for reviving this post… but how do you change the FOV increments in falcon bms.cfg when slider is selected as FOV?

RE: Falcon MFD Software for android tablets
It’s my understanding that all the IP addresses have to be on the same subnet, so yeah, find out what your main computer has in the way of IP address, then find out what your Android device has ( make sure it’s connected to your local router - not the mobile phone network ).
When I configured mine it was as follows:
Main PC ( Server / Game Machine 192.168.1.96
Android Device ( get this from the device itself, or your hub where it’s connected wirelessly 192.168.1.170Press the “Set” button on the android app and just accept the defaults.
If there are multiple IP addresses in the server software, just select the one that is you main WiFi connection and the same format as the android device.Close the app. Slide it shut ( extra safe ) . Close down the server. Start the server. Start the app.
Then things should be okay.
Yep, I did this (I selected server IP to 192.168.1.6 and pad was on 192.168.1.2) and confirm that it is WAY faster. Thank you nacnud!
I am having another issue, however. When I press a button on the pad, it doesn’t always register in game. For example, in the HSD MFD page a CNTL press on the pad registers in game… but for some reason DCPL button on the same page does not…
For testing purposes I have the X-52 profile that came with the downloaded selected in both the MFD server and in Falcon itself. Should I send the log through as well?
Thank you so much for this support by the way - FANTASTIC!
Cheers,

RE: Falcon MFD Software for android tablets
Did you ever get an answer to your question? Please post if available. Thanks
komcuru advised me to reinstall the app on my android device and make sure the device and server (ie main computer) should be on the same network segment ie, my IP addresses were:
Msg 2017.01.15 18:18:11 fnkReadXML –> ServerIP : 192.168.56.1
Msg 2017.01.15 18:18:11 fnkReadXML –> AndroidIP : 192.168.1.3I think those numbers needed to be the same. Not sure how to do that though! Guess I will google it!
Thanks

Ah yes, true. Forgive my very poor maths!

Typo on pg 63 of Training Manual
I think there’s a typo on pg 63 of the BMS Training Manual. It says:
The best glide speed is thus typically set to 200 knots. Best glide speed with gear down is 10 knots less than gear up best glide speed (190 kts). To find out your best glide speed in any configuration just fly a 7° AOA attitude. The real Dash 1 manual says that the F-16 will go 7 Nm over the ground for every 5000 ft of altitude you lose. That is a fineness of 8.4. You will cover 8.4 Nm for each 1000 feet of altitude loss
I think the last reference there to 1000 feet should actually be to 10,000 feet…
Cheers!

RE: [Android] Falcon ICP + DED (now on Google Play)
Is your Pad on online and if it’s online. Is it on the same network as your computer?
Yes to both. I tried another MFD streaming app and that was working (laggy but was connected).

RE: Weapons Delivery Planner download broken?
@Cloud:
Here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/nfg4q6xi9wxf8n1/Weapon_Delivery_Planner_3.7.3.70.7z
If you have problems with this, then you may have a browser time-out issue.
Not sure if your EOF is the download or unpacking the file?

Awesome thank you, I’ll try this and see how I get on…
