I am pretty sure the ivc issues are that you have the server itself set to use IVC (be a client)…the default host a game entry has ivc set to 0.0.0.0, either set it to 127.0.0.1 or uncheck the use IVC box when hosting the mission

Weird weather bug 4.34?
When the weather socks in…can’t see the pit at all. both me and my human wingman had this same issue.
Anyone else getting this?

RE: IMPORTANT : MFD extract
Absolutely use it every flight. Would consider a mission abort if it failed when entering pit

RE: Weapon Delivery Planner released
I’m not sure why but i simply cannot get WDP to work on windows 10 that comes with .net 4.7+ by default.
There is no way to install lower versions of .net
Reading online regarding my error (trying to open mission.ini file i get a “the path is not of a legal form”, I’m guessing they changed something in later versions of .net and nothing I do will get it to work.
Weird thing is it now fails on my windows 7 vm

RE: YAME64 suite
Sorry if this has been asked before, didn’t want to read 127 pages
Does anyone have the issue where you start yame, and it immediately and forever uses 50% cpu? Seems a bit high, even when it’s not doing anything yet.

RE: Recovering a VHS with 4.33U4?
Hey Johku,
Pretty sure the file is corrupted. I tried to manually compile it with https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?32245-Beta-ACMI-compiler and it says its compiling and then exits out with no output
Hopefully a dev has a better solution.

RE: [Release] Flying PAR/GCA approaches in BMS with vPAR/FSUIPCEmulator
Ahmed,
Thank you for your work on this great tool.
I’ve modified the KUNSAN_TWR.sct file for the ASDE screen to show more detail. Hopefully this helps others for doing ground traffic stuff. It’s not perfect but close enough for you to know where the planes are on the base.

RE: MP all clients get microstutter.
Hi Sthalik,
First I wanted to thank you for the 3d libs…they have been fantastic and we really appreciate the work you have done!
It was most likely network issues on the provider side, as we’ve not had this microstutter on the new provider. Both providers were showing 80 to 140FPS so I think we were good there.
I tried running the libraries on linux but it still kept showing 3d pit with low FPS so we moved to windows. It has been extremely stable and also helps as we have a few server admins and most are comfortable with windows so we stuck with it
Thank you again for your efforts!

RE: Warthog died all of a sudden
I would try the stick on another PC first before buying a new one. If it doesn’t work on another pc im guessing the problem is either the cable or where the cable terminates inside the stick having a bad connection. (bad solder joint). If you’re handy with a soldering gun just reheat (melt) the solder connections where the cable terminates. I’ve had to do this on my saitek x52 and it works beautifully.

RE: ACMI compiler AKA don't wait to get to the debriefing

thanks for the tip, have never clicked on that button before, make a lot of things easier

RE: ACMI compiler AKA don't wait to get to the debriefing
So is it weird that i now have a tab open to the releases and updates thread and reload every hour after Dunc’s announcement? :D…or am I not alone!

RE: ACMI compiler AKA don't wait to get to the debriefing
Ah, that’s what happen when people get annoyed for too long
As I said in the Discord, it wasn’t about the destination, it was about the travel The project was very interesting (from getting a working compiler from an Old Falcon version to a fully functional and optimized program)
I’m just happy to see so many people reaction, I wasn’t hoping for that much. And I’m thankful for all your nice comments.
Also, I can now say that It’s because of me that the Dev disclosed the Falcon BMS U4 release date (isn’t it ?)
YES IT IS!

RE: ACMI compiler AKA don't wait to get to the debriefing
Nice! Added bonus if it is in a seperate thread so you can view the 2D immediately and maybe frag a scramble if needed.
Because that is one of the major PITAs when doing a persistent campaign, you might just come back from a mission but have to do a scramble immediately. Even waiting two minutes until you can frag your flight and scramble is a lot of time!
or show it realtime on another monitor or network pc….then we can have epic awacs lol

RE: ACMI compiler AKA don't wait to get to the debriefing
we just tried it…works absolutely awesome! Thanks Loitho!

RE: MP all clients get microstutter.
Guys sorry for the delayed response. Thank you all for your suggestions…we tried everything and finally just changed providers and all works perfectly. Either it was something wrong with the first providers network or something to do with the xen platform/drivers. the new provider uses KVM.
All is perfect in the world again!

RE: MP all clients get microstutter.
Yes it can run in 3d mode without a graphics card
I have tested it with a vm on esxi and all was fine…but the new vds, mp clients get these stutters. CPU never reaches 100 percent, hovers around 50% and as mentioned, the stutters are 62 seconds apart for every client, but not at the same time.
