BMS 4.32 and Windows 10
Hi, everyone
Have had 4.32 for some time and it has worked smoothly on previous Windows and including Win 10. Never a hitch, smoooth flying. Then a recent Win 10 update’s ruined it all. Now I get the dreaded “not working” window. Is there a fix? I don’t want to lose my logbook details, cartridge settings, or mission progress. Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance;)

RE: Windows 10 Sucks
I use Win 10 with 4.32 with the X55. No problems (so far!) However, the IL/Lomac family are plagued, having worked smoothly with Win 8.1 & Win XP previously Serious bummer, as MS appear not to bother with sorting compatibility with Win 10. Time was, MS O Systems were backwards compatible. No more, and this really sucks. Can’t be that difficult to have a function that could make this work again. Have not yet got 4.33, but will DL soon & hope Win 10 behaves.

RE: How to Load A Joystick Profile (X55)
Don’t know if anyone has suggested this, but I had the same throttle/joystick problem, now solved! Can’t take the credit, though. Found it in Mad Catz. Go there& you’ll find an instruction to REMOVE a pesky “.” from a command line. Can’t point you to it at the moment, but it’s on the Mad Catz site. Dot removed& voila, throttle as smooth as you could wish. Simple fix. Just have to find it!;)

RE: X45 button not working
Seeing all the comments on the Saiteks, makes me wonder about replacing my venerable X45 that I’ve been using since SP4.2 and now with BMS4.32 This is a solid system, meaty and intuitive. Although the trigger doesn’t work any more - I’ve reassigned to a button - the unit still works flawlessly, and never let me down. I would like a system with more capabilities and I did think of the X55. It has lots of switches that I would find extremely useful; but the “tacky” build is a problem. As said, the X45 feels good and solid, and the throttle is nicely incremental with that noticeable step into burner. The stick has the right amount of solidity of movement. A replacement would need all of that - including ease of assignment - plus more buttons, etc., for a truly comprehensive HOTAS. It seems the X55 is not that replacement. Anyone know what would fall into such a category?
Many thanks, and cheers

RE: Norway Theater - Lets do it!
I know Norway reasonably well and I can confirm that the real landscape is the stuff of dreams and to make your eyes water. Low-flying though that is awesome. So thanks to TC and others for attempting it. I can see some very challenging avoidance flying. Using the fjords to mask, up the massive rock - don’t hit the jumpers! - and skimming into the Hardangervidda. I am totally useless building stuff for this, but I will say to those who can, help this guy. This will be one hell of a theatre. Thank you for bringing this to us. Totally, totally ace.
Cheers.

RE: Returning F4 player. A few questions please.
Joining the thread with a question of my own. Likewise a returning “old” Falconeer, callsign Greywolf. Some may remember me from the Froggy days. It’s been years, but once a Falconeer, always a Falconeer! :D:D Dusted off my trusty Falcon 4.0, and headed for BMS 4.32. Downloaded nicely, installed nicely. Looking forward to a weekend of re-acquaintance. The system should do it justice - 12G RAM, 6G NVIDIA, Win 8.1 The question - can I transfer my logbook of Falcon SP4.2 days to Falcon BMS 4.32? It’s currently on CD. Worked hard for it and would love to be able to transfer. If it will work, instructions on how to make it happen will be gratefully accepted. Many thanks in advance, guys. We keep returning!
