RE: EWS // Data Cart: Flares do not sequence properly
Watched video. First note is that your DTE load won’t work because CMS system is not in standby (or off?). But it was loaded anyway on spawn. That step is doing nothing.
Second you’ll find that if you try to enter that program manually into DED/EWS page that it’s not valid. Let this be a lesson not to use data cartridge for debugging. The bug report pertains to the the data cartridge as mentioned in the subject title. How can a person debug the data cartridge without using the data cartridge for debugging?
Dispenser was noted not to dispense flares and to dispense too many chaff when certain SQ was set to 0.
What part of my video did you see too many chaff dispensed?
Why do my settings properly deploy chaff even when flare settings are zero’d?
Why do my settings properly deploy flares if chaff is also set on the same program?
Are you suggesting the simulator is behaving as intended? -

hi
is your ploblem like this?
https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?36642-BUG-report-Flare-Sequence-Quantity-don-t-work-when-Chaff-Sequence-Quantity-is-0sorry i can’t post link, but you can find my post in this technical support category.
regards.Yes, this appears to be the same bug I’m reporting. Good to know it’s not just me then.

RE: EWS // Data Cart: Flares do not sequence properly
Look for sequence and quantity values of 0 which are bad news.
I’m not sure I understand your reply. Why are quantity values of 0 bad news? Is this a known issue?
How do you go about setting programs specifically for only chaff or flare in 4.34?

EWS // Data Cart: Flares do not sequence properly
Hi all,
Apologies if this has already been reported. I did a search on the forums and came up short.
I’m having an issue getting my flares to sequence properly.
Version: 4.34.0 (x64)
Expected behavior:
Flare program settings should burst/sequence as programmed the same way Chaff program settings do.Actual behavior:
Flare programs do not sequence properly. They only deploy the initial burst of the sequence, and none of the remaining sequence, if there are no chaff settings applied to the program.See video:

RE: ACMI problems on exit from 3D, (not the usual one)…
Did you paused the game during your missions ?
If i’m not mistaken i had the same problem in the past and i think it was the pause.
I’ve paused missions with ACMI running without problems occurring, and on other days I experienced problems without pausing, so I don’t think pausing is related to my issues.

RE: ACMI problems on exit from 3D, (not the usual one)…
@Frederf
Wow, 155 gigs? It seems like we have the same issue. Something is making our ACMI balloon in size until they completely fill our drives. I wonder what we have in common.Anyway… Update.
I decided to fly the problematic mission without ACMI and then just save my campaign after completion and cross my fingers that things would return to normal working order for the next flight. I’m happy to report that it has. I just recorded a full flight with ACMI from takeoff to touchdown without any issue with settings at 1000 MB.
So I’m not sure what the problem was. Maybe there was an object out there that causes an issue, or there was just an exceptional amount of telemetry data. I never did try flying the mission with an alternate logbook as was suggested by Cop23rd. Maybe by completing the mission and saving my campaign at a later time in the campaign it un-corrupted my LB. Who knows…
If I figure out more, I’ll report it.
Thanks for the feedback, gents.

ACMI problems on exit from 3D, (not the usual one)…
Hey guys, Callsign JoNay here.
If you’ve seen my YouTube channel you know that I love to record full campaign mission ACMI and incorporate it into the final cut of the video. I’ve been using the technique for a long time on dozens/hundreds of flights with no issue, but I’ve been having problems lately with my game at the leaving aircraft screen.
I know what you’re thinking, you’re going to tell me that a previous ACMI file saved incorrectly and that I need to delete it from the folder before I can properly exit the leaving aircraft screen, but I’ve already done that and it hasn’t solved the issue.
I used to have BMS installed to my SSD drive and I had no problem recording very large full mission ACMI files. Sure it would sometimes take 20+ minutes at the leaving aircraft screen, but they would always save correctly if I waited long enough. Then a funny thing started happening. After a few minutes of waiting I would get the pop up message that BMS was no longer responding. When I closed the program and looked in the ACMI folder I noticed that the mis-saved ACMI file was 33 gigs in size! This was coincidentally exactly how much free space I have on my drive SSD. I tried the flight a few more times and the same thing kept happening. The file would balloon up to the size of the available space on my drive while it was processing/saving and then crash the application when there was no more storage available on the drive.
I decided to re-install BMS to my E: drive which is a 2 terabyte HD with over a terabyte of free space. I’ve tried saving ACMI a few more times but it still won’t work. I no longer get the pop up message that BMS is not responding, and the file itself is not ballooning in size to fill all available space on my drive, but the leaving aircraft screen Never ends. I actually left it at the screen all last night while I slept, so it was 6+ hours and it was still there when I woke up. I force-quit the program curious to see the size of the ACMI file, but it was only about 80,000 kb.
I’ve deleted all ACMI files from the folder except for the ones that come stock with the install, (pop up delivery, missile evasion, etc), and I’ve even tried adjusting the size of the ACMI max size in the Setup. I usually use 1000 MB and I’ve successfully saved dozens of flights that way, but lately I’ve also tried, 200, 50, and even 20 a few times and I still have the same problem.
Recording ACMI in dogfight/match play is no problem, and recording ACMI on a very short aborted campaign flight (about 10 mins or less) is no problem either, but any kind of flight that approaches 30+ minutes and I get hung up at the leaving aircraft screen. My computer doesn’t even sound like it’s working. There are no chugging sounds and task manager shows about 14% CPU usage.
Any ideas?

RE: 4K UHD Graphic Settings for 2 Nvidia GTX 1080's in SLI
Drop the res, turn all the eye candy on & enjoy this thing @100fps
He would have tearing all over the place at 100fps with a 60hz monitor.
